Great price for a good room in a hotel that is conveniently located near the train & bus terminal, the metro, and tram stops. It's also a short walk to the very center of the city and many of the tourist sites.

Dobra jakość i cena

Sympatyczna i kompetentna obsługa. Czysto. W recepcji jest płyta z plexi oraz płyn do dezynfekcji. Pokój niezbyt duży, ale dobrze wyposażony. Czajnik elektryczny. Łazienka mała, ale prywatna i funkcjonalna. Wygodne łóżko. Blisko do dworca kolejowego. Mała boczna uliczka.

Soggiorno a Sofia

Buona esperienza presso questo hotel. Si trova vicino alla stazione centrale dei treni (circa 500 m) e a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro (Serdika). Hotel pulito , personale gentile. Unico inconveniente la doccia a filo pavimento, senza tenda di protezione , per cui si bagna tutto. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo é buono, circa 35 € a notte.

Small, but clean place in a quiet street within walking distance of old town and the sights. Four AC units next to the window make it a little noisy at times and housekeeping seems to be forgetful, but otherwise a good value.

The hotel although located close to train and bus stations but is in the seedy part of town where there are more than 20 casinos located. The main street is dark and empty. There is a strong smell of must and mold in the room. When showering there is a water pool created on the bathroom floor.

Convenient hotel for bus and railway station

Cheap but cheerful and friendly. A bit basic and old fashioned but good value. Fine for an overnight stay. The taxi called for the airport worked well.

Not suitable for non-smokers

Pro: Location is fairly good, you can walk most places within 30 minutes. Con: Requested a non-smoking room but the room was thick with cigarette smoke. We couldn't stay in there long as the fumes were giving us headaches and nausea. They refused to give us another room or refund. Instead we were provided a can of airfreshner and told to put the airconditioning on and sleep with the window open. Bedding has cigarette stains, and burns. There were also nicotine stains on the ceiling. The smoke alarm in the room has no battery and does not work. This place shouldn't advertise as non-smoking, or they need to create a smoking policy and fine guests who break the rules so the money can be used to properly clean the room. The lady working the night shift seemed nice, but nothing she could do. The woman who works during the day verbally abused us down the phone for complaining about the room. If you are a non-smoker, asthmatic, or have small children, I'd suggest staying somewhere else. We were told it's common for their guests to smoke in the room even when it is against the rules. They have no policy for when this happens, so they do not fumigate the rooms. This means future guests are penalised because of this.

Hotel Cheap? Not cheap enough for service given.

Not a great time. The room was not ready so we waited, and waited, and waited........ to be given a room for 2 with a quilt on the sofa for our son. The 3 person room was not ready as the cleaner didnt turn up for work. When we queried this with reception her answer was "well the check in is AFTER 2pm!" I told her it was well after 2pm but she kept saying "AFTER." I asked her if we check in at 10pm would the room still not be ready as that was after 2pm and she just shrugged her shoulders. Terrible customer service from someone who clearly did not care. The air conditioning in the room did not work and the cleaner left 2 shampoo sachets out every day instead of the 3 needed. The room was not very clean either. The only thing that it had going for it was that it was close to the bus and train station and a few minutes walk from metro.
