Good

Friendly and helpfull staff. Good location, reasonable prices. The room was clean and tidy, but need small refresh. Comfortable bed, clean bedding and bathroom. It would be nice if there was a small foldable table. Overall - happy with my stay.

Exceptional value for money, plenty of public transport options nearby, metro, tram or bus. Only gripe would be it's very close to a main road, and depite double glazed windows, the traffic noise wasn't blocked out.

Really good for a short stay. The hotel is close to the metro station too which was great. Basic, clean, and no issues. Only downside, you cannot book a twin room, only a double bed.

Good room, watch out for the hidden extras

The room itself was clean. It had a tv, en suite shower and toilet. The reason for giving a lower rating is due to all the hidden extras, such as charging to leave a bag at the hotel.

Easyhotel Bulgaria

Stayed for a week, solo travel, some excellent staff at reception, some not so good, that could have been because i don’t speak Bulgarian, room is adequate for single travellers, warm and WiFi good, only negative was room or bins weren’t cleaned or emptied for the whole week. It’s about 20 min walk to main attractions but there are trams every 10 min at top of road, you can just use your debit card to travel, tbh the public transport is excellent in Bulgaria, used the Metro to and from Airport again just swipe your card.

Stay wasn’t great. We arrived and bed was literally covered in hundreds of different hairs. We asked reception to change it and the cleaner came up and did so, and it was again covered in hairs. At this point we couldn’t do much else so had to deal with it. As described it is a very tiny room which is fine if you’re just using as a place to stay. Also bathroom floods very easily. No hand towels provided either. Wi-Fi good. And location is good short walk to tram to take you into centre.

Great value

I recently stayed at EasyHotel for four nights, and overall, it was a great value for the price. This is a discount hotel, so amenities are kept minimal, but they offer what you need for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay. The room included a double bed and enough space for a suitcase. There wasn’t a kettle or coffee maker in the room, but they had a coffee vending machine in the lobby, which was convenient. The room was clean, although it showed some signs of wear. The curtains were effective at blocking out light, and despite being located in the heart of the city, the room was fairly quiet. The hotel’s location is excellent, with easy access to buses, metro, and trams—especially useful for getting to the city center and airport. The bed was a bit firmer than I prefer, but that’s more a matter of personal taste. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I’d gladly stay here again. Special thanks to Ivan at the front desk, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Hotel is in a convenient location and looked fairly new. I was almost impressed with my room until I discovered the thermostat was stuck on 26 degrees. After much pressing of buttons and sweating, I went to reception. The guy seemed pretty uninterested. I had to pretty much force him to come and take a look, just in case I was doing something wrong with the thermostat. I wasn't. He did say he could set temp from the computer and asked what temp I needed it. I tried to explain that, as I was using this room for the first time, I may need to play around with it a little to work out what was comfortable and that I didn't want to be running up and down all night getting him to alter it. Eventually, he gave me a different room. The thermostat was also broken there but set at a lower temp. Walls rather thin. Whoever was in the room next to me snored like a bison with flu. I also realised they suffered from sleep aponea. So, not much sleep. Windows didn't close (or open) properly so also had noise from outside. Room was clean and tidy and the bed was excellent. Really basic but I hadn't expected much. The ban on smoking in the rooms was not enforced and the little lobby/hall outside my room stank of cigarette smoke. Bathroom was very compact and probably not great for anyone of a larger size. Check-in guy was friendly and helpful. Would stay again but not for 3 nights!

Bed bugs in the rooms

Terrible stay at this hotel. Couldn't remember more worse hotel than this one. There were lots of BED BUGS in our room. The receptionist said it is a common thing to happen.

This hotel satisfied my minimalist spirit. Other than an extra roll of toilet paper and 2 extra towels there was no luxuries. The staff was efficient but did not smile or greet guests. When the ventilation paused and the traffic outside stopped. I could hear the beeping of the green walking man all night long.
