Really enjoyed staying at this lovely studio apartment. Very clean, peaceful, and had everything we needed for our stay. Close to downtown Smithville and in a very cute neighborhood. Would stay here again!
Very cute and clean! Love the touch of local products. Very good communication! Check in and parking instructions weren’t very clear- but host was quick to respond and tell us exactly how to park/find the door!
Wonderful little retreat. We cooked one night and ate in the back yard oasis. Walked to the Fat Cat Lounge & Cafe and Comfort Cafe and explored downtown. Will definitely book again!
Checked in after dark had difficulty with gate latch. Needed more outdoor lighting. Given wrong key code but owner extremely responsive and allowed a very late check out. Pet Friendly! Would stay again 100 percent!
Adorable place! Was there 2 nights for a wedding. Check in was simple, provided with a code. Parking was convenient . The AC & water heater work great. Comfortable bed. Beautiful outdoor seating area. Across the street from a railroad, but not loud. Near coffee & food, try Smithville General for coffee & Bubby’s for BBQ. The ONLY thing that would have improved the stay is lighting in the alley to get to the studio.
Excellent accommodations. This property is located just 15 min from Buescher State Park. Which was perfect because we’re training for a long hike in June. The property is nestled between other properties but very private. The studio apt. Is very clean and so adorable. The bed was SO COMFORTABLE! Smithville is a nice getaway and so convenient to any of the beautiful surrounding parks. Definitely recommend.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication
The place was reasonably clean and cute, but hard to get into. It took us a while to figure out how to get into the house (it's a side door to the building inside of a big gate). There is no sink in the tiny bathroom so you have to wash your face and brush your teeth in the kitchen sink. It was also difficult to find out how to turn off the lights at night in the main living area. They are in the laundry room. There was no coffee and the sheets were on the table. We had to put them on the bed. We hoped they had been washed.
