We stayed here for 4 nights and upon arrival the air conditioning wasn’t working in our room. I asked about it right away and they told me the mechanic would come by to fix it. He never did. I inquired again the next day and they said he would come by the evening. He didn’t. I asked every day for the entire 4 days of our stay and we’re ensured he was coming to fix it and he never did. So needless to say our stay here was very uncomfortably hot. The building is also very noisy, I was kept up all night by people in the hallways and doors slamming. Not to the most enjoyable stay. The only positive thing about this hotel is the breakfast. It was quite nice with eggs, French toast, sausage, ham, coffee, juice, pastries.

Dall'hotel stellina alle stalle, il passo è breve. -Stanza invasa da ragni, cimici e blatte -Ragnatele sulle pareti degne di Spiderman -Resti di carta igienica sospesi -Docce non funzionanti e senza tende -Finestra del bagno che dà nel corridoio dell'albergo, senza aspiratori -Puzza di fogna che invade la stanza -Cambio delle lenzuola e degli asciugamani inesistente -Filtri aria condizionata pieni di muffa -Tapparelle inesistenti -Discutibile definizione di camere vista mare -Chiavi delle stanze lasciate al banco reception all'uso e consumo di tutti gli ospiti, senza nessun portiere di notte -Colazione imbarazzante, caffè e cappuccino a pagamento -Piscina infestata dalle api -Prese elettriche smontate -Peli sulle lenzuola -Servizio di pulizia scadente per non dire assente -Manager scorbutico, non professionale, urla per un niente contro i clienti -Pos rotto, richiesto pagamento esclusivamente in contanti -Pagamenti rinviati per una settimana con la promessa di risolvere il problema. Sorpresa finale: soggiorno di 5 camere addebitato improvvisamente su un'unica carta di credito, senza informare il proprietario e chiedere l'autorizzazione. Fortunatamente il proprietario della carta è un nostro amico. Che dire, per gli amanti del wild è consigliatissimo.

La mia peggior esperienza in un Hotel (ho 30 anni e ho viaggiato abbastanza) Inizia tutto con il dubbio di aver la camera disponibile, con tanto di prenotazione correttamente effettuata, addirittura l'albergatore ci stava proponendo una stanza già occupata! Avuta la camera constatiamo le sue condizioni. Premesso che non pretendevamo nulla di esagerato, mancano proprio i piccoli comfort per un qualsiasi soggiorno al prezzo proposto e soprattutto poca igiene. Non abbiamo mai voluto accendere il condizionatore visivamente sporco e mal funzionante. Altra "doccia fredda" l'abbiamo avuta quando la prima mattina abbiamo visto ciò che offriva o meglio non offriva la colazione, per di più tutte le bevande calde o il caffè erano a parte con un costo di 3€, nella descrizione era riportato "colazione inclusa". Sono state varie le scene vissute e viste dell'albergatore che sbraitava contro gli ospiti. Per quattro giorni consecutivi, a noi non hanno pulito la stanza, nemmeno un cambio di asciugamani, la loro scusa? Non avevano le chiavi nella reception, assolutamente falso le abbiamo sempre consegnate nonostante fossero lasciate alla mercé di chiunque, senza controlli sul bancone con la porta principale aperta. "Dolcis in fundo" pos rotto per più di una settimana e pretendevano il pagamento in contanti, per poi addebitare tutto il conto sulla carta di un nostro amico che in quel momento era sul volo di ritorno e non gli è stata comunicata precedentemente questa transazione!

Un disastro

Non c’era nulla che funzionasse. La porta della camera era rotta, infatti abbiamo rischiato più volte di rimanere chiusi fuori. Ci è stata quindi cambiata la stanza, in cui però la tapparella non funzionava, infatti una volta abbassata non è stato più possibile rialzarla per tutta la vacanza. Nonostante i ripetuti solleciti, non ci è stata cambiata la camera nè ci è stata aggiustata la tapparella. Inoltre era infattibile farsi una doccia perché la temperatura non si stabilizzava mai e quindi si era costretti a fare una doccia con alternanza di acqua congelata o totalmente bollente.

Posizione buona.Hotel datato come struttura e arredamento,comunque potrebbe avere ottime potenzialità. Il titolare un burbero contadino,vuole risparmiare su tutto in primis energia elettrica.Aria condizionata spesso rotta e dice che deve chiamare un tecnico che non arriverà mai.Televisioni a tubo catodico. Pulizia camere e biancheria scandalosa ma non per colpa delle cameriere ma per le disposizioni del titolare ignorante.Biancheria sempre bucata.Docce senza tenda e gancio per appendere l erogatore della doccia. La colazione è da ridere ed indescrivibile . Ascensore per 3 persone che va preso categoricamente in max 2 persone. Accoglienza …sembra che tu gli faccia un favore se ti togli dalle palle. Ripeto,albergo con buona posizione,abbastanza tranquilla ma deve cambiare proprietario …non è il suo mestiere.

Il mio voto è 6 in quanto la ragazza che ci ha accolto è stata gentilissima .. purtroppo la pulizia non è il loro forte e la colazione è meglio non farla . C è solo un po’ di latte freddo , fette di pane , marmellata alle fragole , yogurt greco e uova sode . Il cappuccino o caffè espresso è tutto a pagamento . La struttura si trova in un punto strategico a tutto ma si perdono in tante cose .

Loved the grounds, the pool, the breakfast room and reception area. The room was a bit dated but some had been upgraded so maybe the owners will do them all in due course. We didn't get clean towels at all during the week which was disappointing.

Good location close to the town -we walk fast so only took 5 minutes. Clean room with friendly cleaner. Breakfast options were ham, cheese, boiled eggs, toast, spreads, cereal, yoghurt and honey which was perfect for us. Large pool with bar. Overall we thought this was really good value for money.

Hotel is in a great location and has excellent opportunities but they have decided not to use them. Hotel reception polite at all times. Maids were in every day to supply new towels and tidy beds. Books available in reception. Bar staff at the pool awful - had what looked like friends sat around at the pool bar who were sulky and glared at you for daring to interrupt (total put off). They sell soft drinks - cans (2 euros) and cocktails (7 euros) but no menu or mention they do food (to be fair, don't bother!). Badly toasted toasty with a plate of crisps (that they describe as chips) are seriously not worth it. Breakfast poor with some yoghurt and bread. Didn't even consider looking at evening meal. No music around the pool - just a general bad atmosphere. We spent pool time at the neighbouring hotel (Oasis) which was marvellous. So in summary, what could be a brilliant hotel - just wasn't.

A basic hotel where the air con is unfortunately not particularly effective, I had it set to 17 degrees overnight which cooled the room down only slightly. I had to ask at Reception for the remote for the air con! I wasn't told I should have breakfast by the pool until the last day, having been happily eating (the same) breakfast in the lobby. I had a couple of late mornings, leaving the hotel at 10am and rather embarrassingly, the cleaner was waiting for me to go, no pressure! It's a 15/20 minute walk into the town and is close to Oasis, a complex with a small pool and bar food. A taxi is about 5€ from town. For the same money, I think Asmina's House is better value and slightly closer to town. The Stellina is a little bit too far from town to be really convenient, but is a good value hotel with a pool and bar.

Esperienza positiva. Holtel semplice ma pulito. Colazione un pochino scarsa qualche dolce in più ci voleva. Strategica e utile la mezza pensione per che torna tardi dalla spiaggia. Abbastanza vicino al centro a piedi 10 minuti e sei al porto. Molto gentili e disponibili.

Πρόκειται για ένα παλιό ξενοδοχείο σε καλή κατάσταση. Το δωμάτιό μας ήταν άνετο και καθαρό, με ανακαινισμένο ικανοποιητικό σε μέγεθος μπάνιο. Το προσωπικό ευγενικό και φιλικό. Το πρόγραμμά μας περιελάμβανε ημιδιατροφή, η οποία περιείχε τα βασικά (περιορισμένος μπουφές το πρωί με continental πρωινό + λίγα κουλουράκια και 1 φαγητό για δείπνο, συνοδευόμενο από σαλάτα και φρούτο). Η πισίνα σε πολύ καλή κατάσταση και ικανοποιητικό μέγεθος. Η θέση του ξενοδοχείου αρκετά καλή, 1,5 χλμ από το λιμάνι και λίγο λιγότερο από το αεροδρόμιο, ακριβώς απέναντι από το Δημοτικό Στάδιο Σκιάθου για όσους ενδιαφέρονται για τρεξιματάκι. Πάντως για παραλία απαιτείται όχημα ή λεωφορείο του νησιού, το οποίο έχει συχνά δρομολόγια. Εκτιμώ ότι μικρές πινελιές στο φαγητό (όπως κάποιο κρουασάν, πίτα κλπ στο πρωινό ή κάποιο γλυκάκι στο βραδινό) θα αναβάθμιζαν πολύ την εικόνα...

Stellina Hotel

The staff, atmosphere and breakfast were absolutely wonderful. The only issue we had was an air conditioner that did not work. We could not sleep due to the heat. Other than that, Stellina is wonderful. An air conditioner is easily fixed.

Posizione perfetta

Un hotel molto carino, offre una posizione perfetta per poter andare al porto anche a piedi (10min di passeggiata) stanze molto pulite, peccato solo per i 2 letti singoli piuttosto che il matrimoniale. Doccia molto ampia e bagno comodo, frigorifero all’interno della stanza e condizionatore funzionante (di quest’ultimo bisogna chiedere il telecomando alla reception). Complessivamente è andato tutto bene, consiglio questo hotel!
