The welcome has been great! Our room has been made available in 30 minutes and it was very large with terrace and jacuzzi. Staff is very friendly and happy to help you for everything. Breakfast is very good and food variety is large. Position up on a hill gives a unique view on the village and the port. Great stay.

This was a really special place,the views spectacular The service from all staff including the cleaners and cooks was very hospitable. The only thing i didnt like was that we missed booking the room wirh a pool

Lots of stairs at the property as well as being at the top of a hill, no lift. Once we got the luggage to the room, it was fairly nice room with everything that you need. The pool area looks bigger in the photos but is still a great little area to chill out and have food and drinks. The bar staff are nice and work very long days. Lady on reception is helpful but works limited hours. Overall would stay here again. Good location and clean hotel.

Fint hotell med herlig utsikt om du har rom med balkong. Stor plass på rommet også. Hotellet ligger litt utenfor sentrum av Skiathos town, og det er en krevende bakke opp dit.

This hotel is located up on the ridge dividing Megali Amos beach and Skiathos town, about 10 mins walk to either location. Very nice hotel, modern room, lovely pool, great views, nice staff. The onsite restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

Nice quiet apartment, with lovely views.

Nice apartments with pleasant pool and bar area with waiter service. It is up a hill but we (both in our 50's) didn't find this a problem and it did give you nice peaceful views over the area. Apts. had aircon included and cleaned daily with regular towel changes with extra towels in the pool area. If you wanted to self cater you may find a shortage of preparation area but we found it ok for breakfasts. All rooms have balcony or patio area with sliding fly screen if you want to keep doors open. Skiathos town itself is pleasant to walk around with plenty of tavernas and bars. The old and new port offering numerous boat trips and water taxis to lovely beaches. You may also want to walk past the old port to experience the planes coming into land. We found all the local people pleasant and friendly like any of the Greek islands. Would definitely think of a revisit in the future and stop at the Poseidon Villas again.

Lovely little apartments

We had a great week at Poseidon villas - they are really well decorated and modern which is unusual in my experience in Greece, and the apartment was really good value. The pool area is nice and had plenty of sunbeds available. We stayed right at the start of the season which was great but I can imagine in peak season this gets quite busy. The team were lovely and pointed out that we could use the shared shower facilities and towels after we had checked out, as our flight home was not until the evening. The food by the pool is also great! The apartments are up a relatively steep hill so bear this in mind after a lovely dinner and drinks in the town! Our only negatives were: - No hook to hold the shower head, so you have to hold it over your head. Hooks/rails are cheap and easy to install so not sure why these are missing! - Really repetitive music around the pool - all old rock ballads, no problem except they played the same song over and over again!

Beautiful views

The room was on two levels, facing west. The views were exceptional. Not a great deal of space upstairs but adequate. Double bed which was comfortable. One small wardrobe. Two side cabinets. Good lighting. Wire mesh on window to stop the bugs (nice touch). Tv but only BBC news channel in English.Fairly steep staircase going downstairs. Two separate beds on either side of the room which doubled as seats with supplied cushions. TVs, hair drier, small kitchen. Door to bathroom. Door to large balcony. Bathroom had a hand held shower, no curtain or screen, extractor fan. Toilet and wash hand basin in close proximity. Good lighting. The accommodation looked recently refurbished. Cleaning was on a daily basis. The only downside was if you needed the toilet in the night, you had to pass between the the occupants of the lower level. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area would benefit from a shower. The pool didn't seem particularly clean. Adequate amount of sunbeds. Bar area was good. Steps down to a washroom, shower and toilet. The property is up a rather steep hill, which could be a concern to less mobile folk. I wouldn't want to push a child's trolley up there either. This is the price to pay for good views. All in all a most satisfying place to holiday.

Lovely clean and comfortable hotel

The rooms have been recently refurbished. Nicest hotel we have stayed in in Greece. A/C is included in the price. The room was kept spotlessly clean by housekeeping. Sheets changed every couple of days but housekeeping done daily. It even had a decent hairdryer. Clean pool towels are available each day. It is a 10 minute walk to the centre of town with the restaurants/harbour etc. It is a bit of a steep hill but perfectly manageable unless you have mobility problems. The view from the hotel across the sea makes up for the walk! Staff are lovely, really friendly. Beach is 10 minutes walk away and its a nice beach with sun loungers, sand and lined with tavernas. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Quiet & relaxing

Just what we were looking for. A short walk into town & the steep hill isn't as bad as some reviews make it out to be. Pool area very clean & towels provided. Crisps & nuts a nice touch with drinks bought from the bar.
