Mondi Lodge is a gem for the adventurous and eco-conscious who want to explore all that Curacao has to offer. The gated property is beautiful, offering the opportunity to eat breakfast or take a swim surrounded by colorful landscaping frequented by hummingbirds. The staff are incredibly thoughtful and helpful. We stayed in the treehouse -- an amazing two-story villa with all the amenities needed and a relaxed vibe. The property is centrally located, allowing for access to all parts of the island. I highly recommend Mondi Lodge for your next stay in Curacao!

We stayed in the tree house it was lovely! It is quiet, breakfast is fantastic and Janice is the sweetest! Really loved it! There is an area where you can bbq and cooked of you don't feel like going out! The location is further from Williamsted hustle, closer to Westpunt & al. Perfect for us! If you are looking for a peaceful haven, this is it! Be prepared for mosquitoes... my hubby was fine but they adored me!

Great stay, very friendly!

Our family of 5 had a lovely stay at Mondi Lodge for 4 nights during our recent trip top Curacao. We loved the jungle vibe of the lodge, and the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to base out of if you have a rental car to explore the island, and the breakfast was excellent as well! The kids loved playing in the pool and painting their handprints on the wall, we would definitely recommend Mondi Lodge to other travelers!

The staff was not there. Beep 4 times to get in is not a welome that I was expecting. If you need something you need to go onto an app. because there is no stafff present. The breakfast, which was said to be made for you, was a carton of egg in the refridgerator and you were shown the stove. The pool was small. It was deserted and unsafe. RUN>>>>>

The Perfect Blend!

Mondi Lodge, a perfect blend on nature and paradise! Outstanding staff, who will prepare the best breakfast you will ever have. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and the amazing staff at Mondi Lodge makes it a meal you do not want to miss. Being able to sit down and have a fresh meal to start the day, and a delightful conversation to help you plan your day. Comfort that is incredibly hard to match. Waking up is a challenge but the smell of some delicious fresh toast would surly do the trick. My girlfriend and I stayed for a few days but everything was outstanding, we really felt at home. Danita will surly make you feel as if you're staying at a family remember, by even lending you a phone and making herself available 24/7. Her and her amazing team are one of the best! I would highly recommend staying here, I truly believe it is the best place in Curacao! Pros: In a convenient location. Amazing Staff and Breakfast Eco Friendly Comfort beyond imagine Cons: Will not really cons, but if you are not a dog person or animal person in general, this is not the place for you. Mondi Lodge gives you a great feeling of nature and paradise, which includes animals roaming around. Just a heads up there is no microwave, if that is something you are looking for, but there is a kitchen area, and an amazing pool!

Wir hatten das Baumhaus gebucht. Das Häuschen ist unfassbar liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet alles was man braucht. Die offene Terrasse lädt super zum Verweilen und Wohlfühlen ein. Die Außendusche ist ein besonderes Highlight. Janine und Danita sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wird täglich frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Es gibt zwar eine allgemeine Frühstückskarte aber wir haben jeden Tag das täglich wechselnde Special gewählt. Hier gibt es täglich kreative und leckere süße und salzige Gerichte. Dazu hatten wir immer eine Bowl mit Joghurt und Nüssen und der Start in den Tag war perfekt. Danita, Janine und Tiere, die frei laufen, geben einem das Gefühl, zu Hause zu sein. Die deutsche Tauchschule, bei der man Tauchequipment leihen kann ist 3 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, was es für uns ideal gemacht hat, wenn wir morgens die Flaschen tauschen wollten. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier her kommen und vermisse die Zeit dort schon jetzt!

Die Lodges sind in einem wunderschönen Garten mit allerhand Tieren. Es gibt jeden Tag ein exzellentes Frühstück. Die beiden Hosts haben sich um alles hervorragend gekümmert. Es war als würde man nach Hause komme .

Incredible getaway!

Mondi lodge was everything my husband and I expected, and more. We stayed for a weekend for our anniversary celebration. All staff were incredibly welcoming and gave great suggestions for places to visit, eat and explore. The breakfast each morning was fresh and yummy! They are very accommodating if you have any food preferences. (Always try the daily special!) WiFi worked good, plenty of parking. It's a 10-15min drive to the city. We didn't find this inconvenient at all. It was nice to relax outside of the hustle and bustle. Can't wait to spend another weekend here. Thank you again to all of the incredible staff for making our trip so amazing :)

We just returned from an amazing vacation in Curacao. The visit would not have been the same without the stay at the Mondi Lodge. Danita and her staff are so welcoming. The property is completely different then a traditional hotel feel and we loved it. It felt like home. Although, I don’t have an outdoor shower at home. Might have to get one, but not sure that will work for the cold winters in NY. Being a family of animal lovers, we enjoyed the dogs. Atsu was a family favorite and lounged with us later in the evening by the pool. The breakfast was always delicious...wish I had that banana pancake recipe. Yum. They accommodated my daughters food allergy and made gluten free delicious options as well. Which can be a challenge! Barbel was so thoughtful and made our children’s birthdays that they celebrated while on vacation extra special with a card, gift, and a special breakfast dessert. Mondi Lodge ist ,wie im anderen Bewerbungen schon geschrieben,ein kleines Juwel. 5 Palapas stehen auf der Anlage ,die wunderschön angelegt ist. Einziges kleines Manko ist,das sie an einer recht gut befahrenen Strasse liegt. Vor allem nachts ist mit Verkehr zu rechnen,hat uns aber irgendwie nie gestört. Das Personal,oder sollte man lieber sagen die Urlaubsfamilie ist hinreißend. Alle sind super nett,zuvorkommend,einfach wundervoll. Bärbel mit ihrem süssen rheinländisch holländischen Akzent,Janine und alle anderen. Alle wirklich ganz tolle Menschen die hier ihren Traum Leben.Das merkt man. Highlight des Tages ist das Frühstück. Das special of the day hat uns in den ganzen 14 Tagen jeden Morgen überrascht.Kreativ ,mit ungewöhnlichen Kombinationen und einfach sehr sehr lecker. Der Kaffee Automat,der jederzeit zugänglich ist macht süchtig. Sehr sehr leckeren Fair Trade Kaffee. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wenn ihr euch für Mondi Lodge entscheidet habt ihr schon mehr als 50% eines wundervollen Urlaubs. Aber ihr solltet Tiere mögen ,ansonsten seit ihr hier Fehl am Platz. Es gibt Hunde,Esel,Tauben,Leguane,kleine Echsen,Hühner,und allerlei Vögel und Kolibris,die halt auch eine Geräuschkulisse verursachen ,was vielleicht nicht alle mögen. Aber das ist die Philosophie dahinter.In der Natur,mit der Natur. Wir haben es geliebt! Grundsätzlich ist ein Mietwagen zu empfehlen.Die Insel ist zwar nicht gross ,aber um unabhängig zu sein ist ein eigener Wagen von Vorteil. Könntnoch mehr schreibenabergehtni

Einzigerartiger Urlaub in toller Umgebung

Wir waren 10 Tage in der Mondi Lodge. Es war genauso, wie wir es in vielen Bewertungen gelesen hatten. Einfach traumhaft. Das Team war supernett, wir bekamen jeden Tag tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants. Das individuelle Frühstück war TOP. Die Palapas sind liebevoll gestaltet. Hier ist Erholung pur angesagt. Fantastisch verblijf!

Wij hebben 12 nachten bij Mondi Lodge verbleven. Toplocatie, superlieve mensen, TOPontbijt, ... Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Hier kan je echt tot rust komen. We hebben ook leuke tips gekregen en zo mooi plekjes mogen ontdekken van Curaçao. Dit was onze eerste keer dat we geen All-In hotel boekten en het is ons voor de volle 100 % bevallen. Ik ben fan van Mondi Lodge en zal het aan iedereen aanraden die het mooie Curaçao wil ontdekken!!

Noisy, full of bugs

I would return anytime to Mondi Lodge

Loved the palapa and familial environment! Danita and Barbel are exceptional hosts. Breakfast are awesome, Prepared with care. The experience is unique and I really recommend Mondi Lodge to travellers who want to feel a little bit of carribean lifestyle.

We settled on staying at the Mondi Lodge after reading all the positive reviews and hoping for a more personal experience...and we got just that! All of the staff were super helpful and friendly and I don't think our visit to Curacao would've been as great without them there. Breakfast was AMAZING every morning and they all took the time to go through our itinerary for the day and give us some recommendations and what to do and where to eat. Danita even took us to some snorkeling spots and hung out with us on one of her days off, which we really appreciated, and she also gifted us a bottle of champagne upon hearing about my graduation. The individual cabanas/huts made it feel very exclusive and private. We loved the dogs, cats, and all the other animals on the property, they are super sweet and friendly. Overall, staying at the Mondi Lodge was an absolutely fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend this place to others. *I would highly recommend renting a car to get around, but for the sake of your wallet do not I repeat DO NOT get the rental insurance offered by Expedia. At the time it seemed like a deal and I didn't want to risk the car rental company charging us like crazy once we got there, but it's a rip off. The insurance states that it is "valid," and it technically is, but you'd better have an additional $800 for a deposit to use it! And the car rental's insurance ended up being same price!*

Not your typical chain hotel

Family run establishment a little off the beaten path but well worth it. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and is perfect to just sleep, have breakfast and spend your day doing activities and the beach. The AC is cold, the coffee is strong, the bathroom is clean and the bed is a little on the firm side. Definitely rent a car if you're staying here, we visited for a wedding and it proved invaluable. 2 minute drive from the beach, 20 minutes from the airport and 30 from the downtown area.
