"The hotel and staff were great! They were very helpful with a disability. I loved the coffee and ice machines in the lobby! The location was amazing. Recommend this hotel and will stay there again!"

"Beautiful hotel in a great location - close enough to everything to walk anywhere easily, but enough on the edge of town to be quieter. Fantastic underground parking garage was perfect for our motorbikes. Gorgeous room, as well as all public areas. Went out for breakfast partly to see what was about locally, but also because at €35 each, it seemed somewhat steep!"

"Close proximity to the town. Walkable for seniors. Breakfast was spectacular with welcoming and gracious staff. Elevator access helped with some of the stairs. For seniors ask for help at the front desk, and you will be helped with your luggage if needed. For able bodied persons, accessibility was just fine. Beds were comfortable. Even though the place offers you to "happy hour" in their sitting room ( a beautiful room) there is no one there to assist. Not too many outlets for charging in the room The prices were very reasonable, so one must accommodate minor inconveniences like this."

"We really liked the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was air conditioned during a very hot spell. The pool was a bit small and the water seemed overly green but this was more than made up by the staff who were friendly and helpful. An enjoyable stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Pillows. It has elegance without being 'stuffy' and is beautifully furnished and decorated. Our rooms had balconies to relax overlooking the courtyard with gardens and seating for food and drink. We found the beds and pillows really comfortable and appreciated the amenities provided (robes and slippers, toiletries and coffee pod machine). The hotel has several restaurants of different ambiance, one offering a buffet breakfast with a good range of hot and cold food. For us, the location was ideal, with all of the historic sites and eateries within a short walk, yet away from the crowds and noise along the canal in the centre of the old city. The hotel can be reached by trams and buses from the station. Ghent is a beautiful city for a short break. It is also less than an hour by train to Bruges, Antwerp, Brussels, the coast at Ostend and Ypres is just over an hour. We would definitely stay at the Pillows again as a base to visit any of the sights in Flanders."

"This was exactly what we needed for our short trip. We stayed one night here but I think this hotel can be ideal for more than one night. The staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful with everything - it wasn't our first time in Ghent so we know our way around but they did check with us and we're prepared to tell us about the city. The reviews did not lie about the breakfast. It is so good. Everything is super fresh, tasty and filling. I would book again just for the breakfast, it's also great value for money. The bed was comfortable, the Aircon in the room was working properly which was important as we came during a heatwave. They also have parking but we came on a motorbike so didn't need to use it. I would definitely recommend especially since we tried many other hotels in Ghent and in Belgium. This is also great location as it's super close to the center but quiet enough for a much needed rest in the evening. I would book again."
