Town with restaurants is close by within walking distance and the bus and train stops are very convenient! The open air onsen was lovely. Everything was comfortable and the staff was so kind! "The property is located in a remote area in Yamanashi Prefecture, perfect for a relaxing stay. The vegetarian menu offered was delicious! Staff there super friendly and helpful!"

"Very old traditional Ryokan. Beautiful garden/riverside views. We did not realize that there are no private baths - that was a big surprise but we were only there one night so it wasn't that problematic. Staff were very accommodating and Google Translate made communication very easy."
