The hotel is basic but comfortable. I have stayed a few times purely because it is close to uni accommodation, sometimes it’s a good price and it’s near town. The rooms are a decent size and it really depends on which way your room faces as you whether you get a decent night sleep. If you face the road- it’s noisy all night. Generally I have found the rooms clean but yesterday we arrived to a room stinking of stale smoke. The helpful staff member moved us without a problem. There is no onsite parking.

Most of the hotel was in good shape, but our room (321) had a mildew smell and there was rust and mold/mildew in the bathroom, especially around the bottom of the door where it hinges. We loved the dining and lounge area, and found the staff to be very helpful. Breakfast was a little confusing and disorganized; for such a busy time it was clear that more staff should have been working. We liked the location and general ambience.

Was very impressed that I had a kettle and tea/coffee as ive stayed in other ibis and they didnt have anything. Slept well every night, bathroom was also great shower was quite good too. Overall impressed, compare to the other ibis in Sheffield
