I was not informed that the gym was closed prior to booking and without a pool, there was no way to exercise on the hotel premise. (Jogging on the streets of Shanghai is not really ideal.) The staff were all very friendly and nice, but unfortunately communication could be a bit of an issue as not even the reception spoke English. But I didn't have any major issues with it.

I lived for one night at Ambassador Hotel. It has a good location, 10 minutes walk to the metro Line 2. The service at the Front Office and Restaurant is okay but it seems that they really don’t enjoy their job.

Overcharge

The room was confirmed at CNY 3.744.00 total, this was also shown on the print out provided at check-in. However, on check-out they told me the price has changed and I must pay CNY 5.000 instead. Total rip-off, don't go there!

상대적으로 저렴하고 깨끗하며 좋은 위치. 그러나 무료 와이파이가 잘 안터지고 보증금이 많다

시설이나 서비스 대비 저렴하고 무엇보다 객실이 냄새도 없고 깨끗이 관리되는 호텔이다. 번화하면서도 조용한 곳에 위치하고 지하철 2, 11, 13호선 역과는 1.2km정도로 걸어서 약 20분 거리로 다소 멀지만 세개의 지하철역을 이용할 수 있고 버스정류장은 가깝다. 특히 2호선역은 포동공항, 홍차오공항이나 홍차오역, 인민광장이나 난징로 등을 바로 갈 수 있어 편리하며 정안사가 가까이에 있다. 그러나 무료 와이파이가 잘 안터지고 한사람이 와이파이를 사용하면 다른 사람은 와이파이를 사용하기 어렵다. 우리 일행은 네명이서 방 두개에 5박 했는데 호텔 예약시에도 보증금을 방두개 하루분을 받고 체크인 할 때도 많은 금액의 보증금을 요구하는 것이 부담이다. 전체적으로는 숙박을 추천할만한 호텔이다. 공젝.
