It was nice that each bedroom has its own bathroom. There is a huge open area to gather and play games and visit. The pond and the large outside grass areas were also very fun.
We enjoyed everything about our time in this house. The pool table, ping pong table and foosball kept the energy high and we loved sitting outside at night and looking at the stars.
It was great to have a large place for everyone. The property was nice and secluded. The kids loved playing on the pond. We would definitely consider coming back.
Great place to stay and gather. The great room goes from the kitchen to the living room with the dining room and pool table room and another dining room in between. The adjoining ping-pong Foosball room made for fun and togetherness for all Teri was very easy to work with and was quick to respond to any questions. The room chart doesn't do the place justice. We were pleasantly surprised how accommodating the rooms are for everything. Our group brought our own lifejackets and tubes so we could enjoy the lazy river for free but there is outfitters there that also provide whitewater rafting which some of us paid for as well. The whole trip was so much fun!
The lodge was a lot of fun and very large. We enjoyed the open spaces. Pool table, Ping Pong table, chess and other activities inside. Outside we played in the big pond and road off road vehicles right from the property. The property owner was very quick to answer any issues we had. The view from the back of the house was amazing. We didn’t realize that 4 of the bedrooms had outside entrances so we were surprised at that. The only complaint we had was the cleanliness. 3 of the beds had dirty sheets and the tile floor was really dirty. We would definitely stay here again.
Teri was wonderful to plan with. We reserved the lodge for our family to gather for my Father’s celebration of life. It was perfect, when we arrived Teri had prepared a wonderful welcome basket full of games, treats, soaps and a lovely card. The lodge itself was filled with activities to keep everyone busy with plenty of space, There was a large kitchen, fireplace, towels and bedding.. I’m glad we chose this spot!
What a blast! Pheasant Run is the perfect place to spend the weekend with friends and family for the annular eclipse. We enjoyed star gazing on the upper deck, loved the games, walked along the paths and It was so wonderfully quiet. The lodge has such a great rustic cabin vibe and lots of rooms for a huge group. The spacious gathering places made everyone feel a part of the group. We loved our stay!!
It was our third time to stay in this cabin and that speaks volume of why we keep coming back to this place. The place is clean, well kept and maintained. Teri our contact person and her house manager was just simply amazing that went above and beyond in assisting us in our needs, quick to respond to our inquiries and very helpful and accommodating. Superb customer service and great place to stay. Thanks again Teri and crew.
Our large extended family loved this experience. There is so much to do on the property and the surrounding areas. Everyone could find things to do that fit their own interests. The country setting was ideal and landscape near the lodge and surrounding areas was beautiful and picturesque. We had such a great time that several of us would like to return again. A few of us are considering it for reunions of the other sides of our family. Would happily recommend this to anyone. More than enough for all group sizes. We had family from all over the country come. One of our best and most memorable reunions to date.
Our large family group of 48 enjoyed using the large TV, playing ping-pong and pool table. Lots of books to read, ample places to sit and the large kitchen with a big stove and an indoor grill for our meals. The swamp cooler in the kitchen and grand room was pleasant during the hot part of the day.
Each bedroom has its own portable air conditioning unit (not a swamp cooler) which is nice! The upstairs bedrooms are warmer and could use more powerful air conditioning units in my opinion. And individual bathrooms for all the bedrooms were great!
The green lawn on all sides was very nice for games and for sitting. The east-facing patio has plenty of chairs and a couple of tables with table umbrellas available. We brought a pop-up shade canopy for our large group. There is also a lot of shade on the west side of the lodge in the morning.
The pond was a major hit! It kept the many kids occupied and busy for hours! Bring your own life jackets paddleboards. The on-site rowboat was also used a lot.
Teri, the host, was amazing and was very accommodating, making sure our family had everything we needed during our stay!
Overall, a great experience for our group and would recommend it for a large group.
The host, Teri, was absolutely wonderful - always answered any questions I had promptly and was super nice. It was great to have a bathroom in each bedroom, and the outside rooms worked well for those in the familiy who wanted to go to bed earlier and get away from the late night laughter and games. The big main room was great for gathering and games and everyone loved the foosball, ping pong, and pool tables. The yard was great for group games! We had an epic water fight and lots of Capture the Flag, Ghosts in the Graveyard, etc!
With just a few tweaks, this venue would be even better: A better cooler, better beds, spraying for spiders, and a clean kitchen. It was quite hot inside even with a cooler in each bedroom. A bigger swamp cooler would help considerably for the main area. Most beds had toppers, but that didn't help much when the mattresses underneath weren't great. The one we slept in was saggy in the middle. We saw some spiders and other crawly bugs but it wasn't out of hand. The kitchen was not very clean (don't pull out the tray under the burners on the stove or look under the kitchen table) and while there was plenty of fridge space, not a ton of freezer space (some food was already in the freezers) and almost no pantry space. Having said that, we did have a great time there. We loved all the space and being together in one place. A very successful reunion. We would likely stay here again.
We have had two family reunions here, it’s perfect! So much space, inside and out. The pond is the best part, our kids bring kayaks and paddle boards and swim all daylong. Hope to be back in two years.
Teri is a great host A! This is an amazing place. We had 33 people there and it fit us perfectly. It is not far off I-70, yet it is quiet with beautiful views. The kids had a great time on the pond and the adults played pool for many hours. The kitchen was setup well and we had plenty of fridge and freezer space for the group. I would definitely come here again. In fact we are looking at booking next year as well.
We spent three nights with 37 family members. Everyone from senior citizens to a toddler had a great time. The pool table, ping pong table and foosball table were always in use. The pond was a popular spot. The kitchen is great for taking care of a group. We plan on making this a regular event.
We loved the property. The lodge was great and very clean and the pond was adorable. Terri (the owner) is very quick to respond and was just great to work with. Everyone in our party had nothing but great things to say about the place. Would definitely stay at again!
We’ve stayed here several years now for our large family reunion. It’s a wonderful place to stay. The kids and teens love the pond and boat in the back. The big yard was great for outdoor games. They have new ping pong table which for our family was terrific because we are table tennis fiends. I would give five stars but there were a few items that just made it hard to give it a 5 star rating: the swamp cooler had a few issues cooling well, the dishwasher wasn’t working, and a toilet in one room was not working well. They did come and fix things quickly and Teri was excellent at communicating. We’d be happy to stay there again as we love it there.
The pictures do not do the property justice! When we all arrived we were very impressed with how beautiful it looks in person. Its quite secluded and we will definitely be going back.
We loved the spacious gathering area and the large kitchen. It was so nice that everyone (30) had a place to sit and eat in the main area. The pond was so fun and all the grass and well kept lawn allowed us to play volleyball, cross net, spike ball and so many other fun games we brought. This is a great spot for large family reunions! The hostess was SO HELPFUL and her communication made us feel so welcome and excited about our trip.
This property offers a huge footprint yet draws your entire group together for what is really important. Every room with a good bathroom attached. great conversation kitchen, little nooks for games and talks. TV and internet...
What a fabulous find in the Heart of Utah. The Managers and owner were great to work with...Entire trip exceeded my expectation.
We had about 30 people stay at this lodge comfortably. There was room to all be together. But also privacy for everyone when they wanted to escape. The pond was great for kayaking with the kids. The yard had plenty of room for badminton and other games. There was plenty of parking. We are all ready talking about coming back
Our large family really enjoyed staying here for our reunion. Kids and adults said it was a great place. The pond was fun for the kids on paddle boards and in the fishing boat that was already there (bring your own lifejackets and paddles). We enjoyed ping-pong, pool, corn hole. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious, and we had lots of seating with nice tables inside and out. The lawn was nice for games. The view out the back is great, with the pond looking out on hills and mountains. AC in each bedroom is very nice.
