"We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. Everything was provided as stated and it was comfortable and very clean. The area is very quiet, there is a small local shop that provides essentials and there are lots of local walks full of wildlife if you don't want to drive. It is a short drive from two towns where there are shops and restaurants and close to plenty of beautiful coastal areas to explore. "

"Lovely authentic house. With excellent facilities. Lovely terrace where you canhave your breakfast. Lovely viewd on Lissabon in the distance and on ntural park and the Palmela castle. On 10 minutes wall you will find ruins from late stoneage, roman era and moorish era. The first neighbour is a 20 minutes walk and is bakery Juliao who has delicious sandwiches chorizo and bread from a real brick oven.... oven."

"Liked that it was two splittable separate units, 1 up, 1 down, but 3 sets of keys were confusing. On vrbo it came all as one house, even tho we were just 2 people. "The Sand Wing is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are to an extremely high standard. Breakfast is also divine. That said, the service really lets the hotel down. For the prices they charge, I expected service to be exceptional, but unfortunately it wasn’t anything special. On top of that, the service charge added to the hotel bill at the end is outrageous. If you’re paying £5,000 for your stay, being charged around another £500 in service fees feels excessive, particularly when the service doesn’t reflect that level of charge. When we arrived, we were given a QR code and a brochure and told to message if there was anything we wanted to arrange. I messaged about a few things and received no response. When I chased it, I was then told that they no longer offered everything that was actually listed in the brochure we had been given. Bizarre, to say the least. Overall, it’s a stunning hotel, but if you’re considering staying, I would strongly recommend booking the brand-new Sand Wing. The hotel has huge potential, but for the prices they’re charging, the service really needs to improve. They need to go above and beyond to make the experience feel genuinely five-star."
