We loved our stay here. The staff were absolutely amazing, especially those at reception. They were always well mannered, polite, friendly, helpful and went above and beyond for us. The breakfast menu was great, I ordered something different everyday and the food was fantastic. The villa itself was well maintained, clean, peaceful. We loved the private pool. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious. The room service was excellent, the food again was delicious, especially the spring rolls! We were able to walk to the main part of Seminyak which took around 15 minutes or get a taxi, both were convenient options. We were both sad to say bye to the staff when we were leaving to return home to the U.K.! We would definitely stay there again when we return to Bali.

Room was perfect, and the cleaning was always spotless. Ac good, swimming pool fantastic. The only problem was the street, unfortunately we got waken up almost every night by the bikers racing there, so I suggest you ask for a villa that is not close to it. Also the bathtub was leaking a lot, so a puddle would form. But I still recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Samaja Villas, the staff were extremely friendly and always welcoming. The food was great and our coffees were next level, every day we had different artwork on top from one of the very talented barristers. :-)

Very happy with our stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Samaja Villas. The room was very large and kept clean. There was an on-site restaurant and a spa. The prices are very reasonable for the restaurant and the spa services are average for a hotel with a wide range of treatments available. I would recommend the smoothie bowl for breakfast. The restaurant also has a cocktail special (3 for the price of 2) during the afternoons which was nice to take advantage of on our last night in our villa. The staff were all very friendly and greeted us each time we came through the lobby. They remembered each of our names and kept an eye on the children playing with the resident fish and turtle while we finished breakfast each morning. The location was okay. It was about a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of Seminyak which you had to cross a busy road to get to. But on the way there are restaurants, spas, and other services. If you travel away from Seminyak, there are local warungs, laundries, rice fields, and nice coffee places. A GoJek is easy to organise and it costs about $5AUD to get from the villa into Seminyak. Overall I would recommend this place. It was a little bit more than I would usually spend but the service and amenities available made for a wonderful experience.

Jeg har aldrig i mit liv oplevet sådan et klamt hotel før. Det ser slet ikke ud som det gør på billederne, det er helt slidt, gammelt og beskidt. Man kan se der er sparet på en masse. Lokationen var ligeledes dårlig, masser af larm om natten. I skal ikke lade jer narre af billederne, de er redigeret og taget fra vinkler, hvor man ikke kan se slitage.

DO NOT STAY HERE My partner and I booked a 1 bedroom villa with a private pool which looked beautiful in the photos. The villa we were given was not the villa in the photos. The villa had a tall wall blocking the sun morning and afternoon so no sun reached the villa at all. We realised on day 3 and complained. We got offered in the afternoon to move to the villa which was advertised on Expedia however had 1 hour to move as we were taking someone else's booking scheduled to come in that night. We were very upset as this villa should have been given to us from day 1 as that's what was advertised. We booked other accommodation as we weren't happy and checked out the next day. When checking out, the staff were more concerned about us paying our drinks bill of $65aud than our overall customer experience. I have since complained to Expedia and samaja villas were refusing to give us a refund for the nights not stayed until the drinks bill is paid. This is very poor customer service. The air con is not reached in the bathroom so it is extremely hot in there. The cocktails made by the bar barely has any alcohol. They are taking advantage of their customers and it is not worth staying here.

Wonderful little oasis in Seminyak

A great find just outside the main streets of Seminyak. The villas are wonderfully appointed with your own private pool and outdoor area. Great size bed and the villa has good sized TVs both in the bedroom and outdoor patio area. The staff were lovely and extremely accommodating throughout our entire stay. It's about about a 10-15min walk from the property to the Main Street of Seminyak, which means that you don't hear any noisy road traffic. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This villa was stunning - we absolutely lived it. Unfortunately it's not really in walkable distance to the heart of Seminyak or beaches. Service was great, however we list a painting whilst staying there which was gutting.

Awesome experience, nearby to everything

Hotel staffs are awesome and very attentive to details. Helpful staffs all over the place. Close to beaches, restaurants and Seminyak centre. Great place to just chill out and relax for days and forget about the city life.

Cosy villa

Requested for anniversary decoration and was nicely decorated and complimentary cake and fruits as well. Also appreciated for the foc 1 way transfer. Small and cosy villa for two though wish that pool was bigger. Everything are provided in the villa such as spa salt, mosquito spray, aromatherapy oil etc. The pictures provided online are exactly how it look like for the villa. 7-11, massage and buying of sim card is just near the villa. Everyday have breakfast delivered to our villa.
