A nice hotel with a good sized room, very nice staff & good parking. The hotel is perhaps in need of some modernisation in terms of bathroom facilities, room temperature control & outside areas but has a nice location and aspect.

I stayed for a night on 4 July 26 with my sister and we had a lovely time, the hotel was cosy and the staff welcoming. We had a double en-suite room each and the rooms were cosy and well decorated and furnished. The bathrooms were modern and the showers were great. The beds were so comfy, we slept so well. Breakfast was great and they made me vegetarian sausages. The staff were wonderful. We will be returning . It was great value for money too.

Very friendly staff who were amazing, good bar at reasonable prices., tasty good value food. Good shower and parking. Room was clean and well presented, Only issue was adjoining rooms were noisy Otherwise lovely hotel. Would stay again.

I booked a double room but we were checked into a twin with no availability to move. The room was a good size with plenty of space for clothes. Unfortunately the beds were not that comfortable and there was no shower gel in the dispenser. The bathroom, however was beautifully appointed with a lovely shower and basin. Breakfast was nice, although they kept running out of things - but these were replaced with a bit of a wait which was no problem to us as we weren't on a time limit, but could have been problematic if you were. All in all it did the job and the staff were lovely

The room was lovely,the staff were brilliant and chef was so accommodating for my allergies and very keen to ensure correct measures were made. Food and pudding were amazing! Family room was big, one single bed very springy however. Breakfast was ok but not the best selection. Eggs were made to order but wasnt asked about my allergies on this order just that he would ask the chef to make fresh. Staff all very friendly. Walls were a little think so could hear a dog barking all night and next door snoring. But 100% stay here again. Lovely setting. Fab menu. Lovely cosey bar.

Pleasant 2 night stay

Pleasant 2 night stay. Staff very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was tailored to my needs as I'm gluten intolerant. Bed looked a little shabby but very comfortable and therefore i slept very well (don't usually). Free parking and wifi was an added bonus.

comfy and clean, walkable to pubs

This were lovely rooms (we booked two, as there was a group of four of us) and they were identical, except one had a shower, the other a bath. They were spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfy. Staff were very helpful, it is worth noting they don't serve food on Sundays but we were guided to a local pub within five minutes walk as an alternative.
