A wonderful location, right on the lake, with spacious rooms and an excellent breakfast. Fabio and staff welcomed us warmly and was there to help in any way he could. The view from our room was spectacular.

Hotel in riva al lago di Scanno

Ho trascorso qualche giorno di vacanza in questo Hotel e sono rimasta nel complesso soddisfatta del soggiorno. Si trova in riva al Lago di Scanno ed è in una posizione strategica per visitare alcune zone del parco Nazionale dell'Abruzzo. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, la colazione a buffet comprende, anche, qualche cosa di salato ma è più che altro composta da prodotti dolciari anche artigianali. Essendo anche ristorante abbiamo avuto la possibilità di consumare due pasti sul posto, e devo dire che la cucina era molto buona.

Albergo pulito e confortevole, abbiamo avuto la stanza vista lago meraviglioso. Prima colazione ottima e abbondante, personale molto disponibile e gentile. Solo struttura andrebbe rinnovata ma nel complesso consiglio questo albergo.

Nice hotel overlooking Lake Shannon. Very friendly staff. Ample parking. Breakfast is ordinary continental with not too much choices but they offered to prepare scrambled eggs which is nice. Our room has windows on both sides with the view of the lake which is excellent. Bathroom fittings are new but is a little small. It is overall good and recommended.

Vacanza di puro relax tra quiete e posti incantevoli. Possibilità molteplici di attività con il lago incastonato tra le montagne circostanti. Hotel a pochi metri dal lago stesso, ottima cucina, colazione abbondantissima. Un soggiorno veramente gradevole.

Beautiful views

Lago de Scanno is very serene. Went after season was over. Room was fine - no frills. Hotel is older but the small staff was great. Had wine outside on their patio in the evening overlooking the lake - was is better than that! No dinner options as dining room is open during their season

Avevo prenotato su una foto della camera, accettando l'aumento del prezzo. Poi,invece,quella camera,mi è stato spiegato, prenotata tramite il booking online,non esiste. (A beh!.ndr) Adesso, qui a Scanno,a più di 200 km da casa mia, questa è la scelta: o ti magni sta minestra.. Non so se è manomissione dell agenzia del booking online o furbizia della struttura, fatto sta che mi sento un po' fregato: avrei potuto scegliere tutt'altra località, alla fine.

A few overestimated...

At first, grateful thanks to our helpful host, Fabio, who came to pick us up in the first evening, as we had asked nothing... A precious initiative, as were his informations about Scanno and its surroundings. This said, difficult to hide that one hundred euros for one night -it means our most expensive room in two weeks in Abruzzo- is rather much, even too much, considering the room itself but, mostly, the very poor and desappointing breakfast we got two consecutive mornings. Comments we read before mentioned an excellent prima colazione, it was unfortunately not our point of view. It changes a lot of things as, for us, breakfast is more important than a hairdryer or a view on a lake. We got this final impression that this hotel is somehow overestimated...
