My stay at Jungle Sunset Camp was a nice surprise. To be honest, the property needs some TLC( Tender Loving Care), but the location and the staff make up for what the property lacks. The chef’s breakfast and delicious lunches were always tasty. The wait staff and housekeepers were great. The milk tea served every morning was delicious. I stayed an extra day, which is easy to do on the banks of the Rapti River. In all, I loved Sauraha, Chitwan. The guides that were used for jeep, walking and canoe trip were very knowledgeable. Sauraha offers such a wide variety of choices, and I was happy with mine.

Great service and great food!
Me and my girlfriend visited the hotel and had a great time. The service and the food was superb! The hotel is close to the main restaurants but is still in a quiet and secluded area. We got help with everything from booking tours to getting bus tickets and we were even invited to the owner’s family during a holiday season :) Thank you! /Staffan and Sofia

Better than expected!
Our Stay at the Jungle Sunset Camp was a real good surprise!
The Hotel is on the river, very quiet, but still walking distance to the main street of Sauraha (not so big).
The room is quite nice, spacious and clean. The bed is indeed slightly hard, but that's our preference, so we slept super well. There is hot water in the shower (not that common in Nepal).
The real good surprise came from the staff, super friendly, and the food, remarkably good. Actually it's the best food we've had in Sauraha, despite going to the restaurants recommendedby trip advisor/lonely planet/etc. And also the cheapest!
Overall I really recommend this place, and it's definitely a good value for money.

Budget-Eco-Lodge direkt am Fluss, sehr schöne Lage
Lage am Fluss ist sehr schön und ruhig, Camp ist eine Budgetlodge so dass Preis-Leistungsverhältnis immer zu bedenken ist, Personal und Management sind sehr bemüht den Wünschen der Gäste nachzukommen, während des Aufenthalts sind täglich größere Reisegruppen aus Indien angekommen die ihr ganz eigenes Programm mit teils viel Lärm veranstaltet haben, Heizung und Warmwasser gingen in der kalten Jahreszeit im Dezember nicht immer, so dass warme Kleidung und Decken (vom Hotel) notwendig sind, Frühstück und Essen a la carte sind preiswert und gut, Camp liegt nahe am Ortszentrum von Sauraha und es sind zu Fuss viele Restaurants und Shops zu erreichen. Komfortlevel ist dem Preis entsprechend nicht so hoch, aber Atmosphäre morgens und abends direkt am Fluss ist Klasse!

Ideal and good for the price
We had a pleasant stay at Jungle Sunset Camp. Basic but clean. Showers weren’t very warm. The food in the restaurant wasn’t wonderful but okay. Good location, with nice sunsets over the river.
