The rooms was in a deplorable condition. The dresser was broken. There were cobwebs on the walls and ceiling and dirt on the floor. The door appeared to have been kicked in at some point, but did lock. The driveway and parking lot nearly tore up my car.
Upon arrival the attendant told me that the heater didn’t work well and that the hot water would have to run for 20 minutes before it got hot.
Ant pile in the bathroom, roach in the light fixture. Bed was clean and comfortable.

So, the price was not spectacularly cheap. And the building and the room that I was in could definitely use a reno. But it was clean and very quiet. Which I really appreciated.
Shower fluctuated hot and cold. Had to twist the hot water knob with two hands to move it. Alarm clock had cord cut, they couldn't replace it, and wouldn't give wake-up call. Had to choose to plug the in the fridge, microwave, or light, and CPAP or phone charger. Too few working receptacles.

The purpose of booking for the hotel was to use the shower because our we did not have water but eventually we got water this we ended up not going to the hotel.
Actually went to Walmart to buy Bleach, Fabreze, and two $3 pillows. Place was disgusting! Staff was very nice!
Only booked it because Ole Miss graduation weekend had all the rooms in Oxford sold out.
You get what you pay for, the room was very cheap. So I spent 12 dollars at Walmart, not a big deal. Maybe clean and air out rooms once in a while.

The handles in the tub/shower were very, very hard to turn. This is for 2 grown men who work with their hands. A child or older person probably could NOT turn them on their own.
This place was really bad. In a shady part of town overlooking an abandoned hospital. There was what appeared to be a drug deal happening when we pulled up, both parties scattered in opposite directions. The office was part of the main 2 story building but our room was in the one story unit separated and to the back side. The pool was drained. The shower was only trickling water that was either too hot or too cold. The toilet had a leak in the back so the floor was wet and everytime it flushed it sounded like a plane taking off. The air conditioner would kick on and it was so loud it woke you up. The continental breakfast was a joke with no coffee. Asked for water and they brought out a bottle but wanted $1 for it.

Decent sized room for the very affordable price; not a comfy bed; fridge wasn't getting cold whatsoever
Biggest complaint pillows; too small and flat. Room clean

Was hoping to get a handicap room. I guess theirs was being repaired. My wife has a hard time in a standard room. Didnt receive a copy of the stmt with charges, etc. on it.
We booked this room for my father in law who was traveling and fishing at Sardis Lake. When he got there, the room was wrought with cigarette smoke, the air conditioner didn't work (it was 90 degrees that day), and there was mold in the shower. He asked to be moved to a different room but was told by the gentleman working that there weren't any other rooms and to wait and the air conditioner would work eventually.
Once he called us to tell us about this, my wife called the hotel herself and she told the lady working this wasn't acceptable. Shortly thereafter, he was moved to a much cleaner room with working air conditioning.
The next day, the passenger side of his car had been keyed.
While they did eventually change rooms, it should have never taken multiple requests. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else and driving into Sardis rather than rolling the dice with this place. I've never left a one star review before on hotels.com until this one.
Houskeeping come to room Saturday at 930 and knocked 1x used her card to open door before I could even answer it I was staying until Sunday and even if I was leaving Saturday checkout is at 1100 In my opinion she had no right to enter a room that is booked for 3 days Very disappointing I also had to go to office to get TP as the room didnot have any.
Lady that checked us in was very polite and helpful but the hotel itself was run down. Really hard to turn on the water in the shower and after struggling the water was not hot. Never saw any food the next morning only orange juice.
