Wow...not to be repeated. After checking in for 1 night and being shown to a lovely room the manager banged on the door. She was angry, aggressive and shouting that I hadn't paid....after an hour at Reception she would not accept the Expedia reservation number or email confirmation as proof of receipt.....repeatedly saying that she hadn't been paid. She was very rude throughout. It upset my children. There was no apology when we left...only a bill for city tax!!! Such a shame as the hotel was nice.
This hotel is a good option for those who want to base themselves in Fira, but away from the noise and chaos. It's about a 5 mins walk from the main square / strip. IThe road itself that it's on is very busy, narrow and on a hill - be careful! Staff were helpful with check in, check out and all our questions. Hotel common area and pool are both very well kept, we spent one full day by the pool just lounging and it never got too busy, even in August. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable with a small balcony and all amenities in working order. The buffet breakfast was OK - nothing special and could be improved, but this is a minor fault. Overall a good mid range option, but don't expect luxury
