Excellent stay

Family owned and run, the Fomithea was a delight in every way. It is only a few minutes’ easy walk from the beach and a fabulous boardwalk, and it is steps from restaurants and shops. Sunrise on the beach was unforgettable. The facility is bright, well maintained, and very comfy. Staff were terrific. We loved it!

Had a lovely stay at the Fomithea. Christina was so helpful and everyone very welcoming. Our AC didnt work properly for first 2 nights which was horrendous in that heat, but we got moved and all was fine.

Good for price & location but small standard room

Pros: - small hotel located within 5 mins walk to beach, food market & restaurants as well as local bus stop to Fira - contemporary room design & appeared well maintained & clean (also friendly cleaning lady came daily) - decent size pool with loungers & pool bar - good air con (albeit you cant leave it on when you leave room so takes time to get cool again) - Good selection at breakfast & appeared to restock - pool towel provided - Advised there was a shower room you could use if you checked out & later flight (wish we’d known this on booking as we paid for an extra night we weren’t using for this purpose!) - Shampoo, soap, shower gel provided x1 - Nice balcony Cons - Booked a twin as we are 2 adults not wanting to share & was given a double bed! Complained to check in manager who didn't inform us until we had paid & entered room who just said none available despite us pre-requesting & only booking this hotel for its twin room offering. - One of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in especially the bathroom (for eg the door closes onto the toilet so only one person can use the sink at a time unless you literally stand in shower) - No mirror in bedroom (only in bathroom which 2 people couldnt fit in) - Breakfast items not kept cool/hot - No air con in common areas - No own (purchased) food or drinks allowed at the pool - 2 tiny bathroom towels provided per person (1 hair towel size & 1 hand towel size) - steps to room

Ottima posizione nella migliore località di Santorini per le spiagge e per la rilassatezza dell'atmosfera (altre località dell'isola più in voga sono più affollate e più lontane dalle spiaggie). Pulizia estrema, struttura moderna e confortevole con bella piscina. Punti di miglioramento: la colazione, in particolare la caffetteria (un hotel di questo tipo dovrebbe offrire un servizio bar, le bevande calde della macchinetta sono pessime); inoltre, ho trovato i letti e soprattutto i cuscini poco confortevoli. Infine: nelle camere sarebbe comodo aggiungere degli appendini quanto meno in bagno (dove metto gli asciugamani se no?)

Excellent!

We had a great experience in Fomithea Hotel! The staff was fantastic, kind and helpful. The hotel is really near to everything at Kamari Beach but still in a quiet area so you can sleep well. All very clean, the breakfast great! We highly recommend it!

Perfect hotel choice in Kamari

We just had the most fantastic time at this family run hotel. It’s spotless, modern and friendly. The owner works very hard to ensure an efficient hotel. Demi on the bar is so friendly and kind and serves great drinks & bar snacks 😊 It just made our visit to Santorini extra special as the Fomithea was perfect hotel choice. Couple minutes walk to beach and amazing restaurants. We cannot wait to return next year ☀️

Una struttura stupenda in una zona rilassante tranquilla ma a pochi passi dal lungomare pieno di ristoranti cocktail bar negozi di souvenir! Colazione ricca di cose a buffet ma con molta attenzione al covid prima di qualsiasi cosa ti devi disinfettare le mani e mettere i guanti . Anche colazione senza glutine (un po povera) ma buona. Una struttura davvero eccezionale

카마리 해변 근처의 안락한 호텔

호텔은 얼마전 리뉴얼 된듯하지만, 룸안의 샤워룸은 문이 없어서 침대에 누워 샤워실과 세면대를 보며 자야하는게 충격적이었음. 조식은 메뉴가 많지 않아도 먹을만 했고, 매일 관광을 마치고 돌아와 호텔내 수영장에서 더위를 식힐수 있어서 좋았음. 버스정류장까지 300m정도 밖에 걸리지 않아, 이아마을과 피라마을을 편하게 오갈수 있었음. 버스정류장 앞엔 카마리해변이 있어 수영도 즐길수 있었음.
