A bit far from the airport but very close to the old city having gorgeous restaurants around. Breakfast was awesome, friendly staff made us feel welcome. Information given by hostel really useful!

Absolutly great! I didn't want to live!!!

Excellent!!!! The best hostal ever!!!! Very clean, very nice and helpful staff. Great bed (a double bed very confortable with own light and 2 plugs!) even in a dorm!!! The food as the restaurant is also very good and the 2 guys are very nice and smily! Very well situated, one or 2 blocks adn you are in the center. So very good to visit the center enough far to avoid the noise!!! The hostal is also very nice (plants, hammacks..) I really recommand this place! Thanks to all the receptionists who were adorable!

Escogimos este hostal porque ponía que estaba en una zona segura de la ciudad. Al llegar ya vimos que la calle no nos daba muy buena espina, preguntamos a la chica de recepción y nos dijo que no había problema en salir solas y volver teniendo en cuenta que no fuera muy tarde, así que le hicimos caso. Salimos a las 17:00 y cuando llevábamos dos minutos andando vimos a un señor sin pantalones masturbándose a plena luz del sol en medio de la calle. Salimos corriendo obviamente. Al volver, eran las 21:00, nos cruzamos con un guía que nos dijo que no fuéramos para esa zona que no era segura, teníamos que pasar por ahí sí o sí para llegar al hotel. Llegando a la calle donde nos hospedábamos, nos encontramos a un hombre corriendo con otro detrás que le seguía con un bate y le dio una paliza. Cuando se calmó la situación nos fuimos corriendo y pedimos un taxi para un recorrido de menos de un minuto. Cuando llegamos al hotel se lo dijimos a la chica de recepción y ni se inmutó, jamás volvió a preguntar ni como estábamos ni pidió perdón. Tanto ella como su compañera apenas nos miraban, las saludábamos y ni respondían. Pedimos recomendaciones para contratar tours y nos dijo que lo hicieramos todo por nuestra cuenta, que no valía la pena. Obvio con el miedo que teníamos no íbamos a hacer nada sin guía, y cuando nos dimos cuenta tenían un montón de tours recomendados pero no nos dijo nada. El último día hicimos un tour y el guía nos dijo que esa calle es de las más peligrosas de la ciudad

- Muy cómodo, las habitaciones super limpias y organizadas, el personal muy amable y eficiente hubo un tema con la luz pero se resolvió rapidísimo. - Esta sobre una calle poco concurrida lo que la hace ver medio insegura pero super bien, y esta muy cerca del puerto y el parque Bolívar, donde puedes tomar buses a los distintos puntos de interés.

Wonderful hostel

Tunido has everything a good hostel needs. Only the street gets a bit dodgy with homeless people and junkies at night. Nice deco.
