El hotel llevaba cerrado 1 año, increíble que expedia siga permitiendo hacer reservas. No se hacen una idea de el trastorno que esto ocasiona cuando llegas a una ciudad de vacaciones y te encuentras que pagaste un hotel que no esta en servicio. Increible

I booked this hotel for my son. It was one off the bolt available properties for the night of November 14. I paid for it and received notification of the reservation. When my son showed up they had no rooms! He showed them the reservation and they did not let him stay. It was nightfall and he had no place to go putting him in a very real sense of danger. We had to scramble long distance to find him a spot at the Marriott and pay 275$ so that we could be sure he was safe and would not get attacked during the night. Horrible experience with Expedia.

En general muy bueno!!

El hotel en general es muy bueno, lo único incomodo es la calle donde esta ubicado es poco transitada y después de las 10 pm da la sensación de ser inseguro por la chicas de la vida alegre que se hacen en las esquinas, por lo que toca llegar en taxi después de esta hora.

La atención en el hotel fue super!! todo el personal nos atendió con un cariño y con una calidez que nos sentimos como en casa!! nunca nos dijeron no a nada siempre dispuestos, nos colaboraron mucho!! la noche del 31 nos prestaron el espacio, nos reunimos en familia, compartimos una buena cena y los precios accequibles!

Good amenities but bad location

Overall good experience. Check-in process took forever but other than that it's a good place to stay. Street is not very pleasant to walk on and if you are arriving late it feels a little sketchy. Construction next door and very smelly. I would take a cab to the door. Good breakfast on the roof, very friendly personal but no English at all. Get you google translator ready if want to ask any questions.

Atencion Perfecta

La atención de todo el personal del hotel fue excelente, la comida, la limpieza y sobretodo la tranquilidad. Lo único feo es el sitio donde esta ubicado después de las 7 pm es muy peligroso andar por las calles, hay muchos gamines y mujeres de la vida alegre.

Gute Option in Santa Marta (Stadt).

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage für Ausflüge, z.B. Tayrona, Taganga, etc... Es ist aber ein Hotel für Geschäftsreisende und nicht unbedingt für Touristen, d.h. kein Schwimmbad, etc...

Good, it has A/C

Overall is was not bad. Compared to the other hotels in the area, you can get cheaper, but this hotel had A/C and it's very hot there....you will regret it...The rooms were clean and modern looking...The only con is that this hotel needs window blinds. From the bathroom I could see the window of the people staying above and to the right of us and the bothroom window of the people across. Also, I could see the roof where they served breakfast...It was uncomfortable using the bathroom because I know if I can see the window/roof, that means they can see me, and the window was very large. Do not take advice from the English speaker, she is a constant source of wrong information. We asked for late checkout, and the english speaker told us it would be 15% of the standard room rate of $100 we paid a night. We asked her twice just to make sure. When we checked out, another receptionist was there and we were charged 50% of the room rate for checking out 4 hours late. If I had known that I would have checked out on time. I was very upset....In addition, the english speaker gave us bad directions all the time....She is at the front desk most of the time...

Amazing time at santa marta real

Went on a trip to santa marta hotel with a group of friends. The decor and condition of the hotel were awesome. I loved the free breakfast every morning . The staff was very helpful in any questions I had or giving me great recommendations of places to visit. Loved the rooftop and the hotel .
