"We’ve stayed at this hotel three times, and the location has always been the highlight. Being within walking distance to the beach and surrounded by great restaurants makes it incredibly convenient, which is why we’ve continued to return. Unfortunately, our most recent stay was disappointing and may be our last. Our room had ants, which made it difficult to relax—especially since we found them not only around the room but also in our bags and on us. Additionally, the shower was not fully functioning, and the handheld shower head was dirty and clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned. The bathroom also had an unpleasant smell, which further took away from the experience. We also noticed a strong pool odor in the room. While we understand that being close to the pool can come with that drawback, the smell was much stronger than expected and lingered throughout our stay. It’s disappointing because we’ve had positive experiences here in the past, but the cleanliness and maintenance issues during this visit were hard to overlook."
