Cabin Rentals in San José Province

"Outstanding property with wonderful hiking trails near by. Cute quiet town. The road down to the cabin is steep and unpaved but we managed in a 2wd vehicle. Wifi/Service was out but there is so much to do it didnt bother us one bit. 10/10 would stay again."

"I stayed a couple of nights with friends, we only wanted a place to talk, play board games, cook some food and relax. This property was perfect for all that, with plenty of sitting areas. The bathroom was very nice, with plenty of space for large groups. The property was very clean and with a nice view. The only 2 things I will recommend the host to update are the couches (maybe a deep clean), they look dirty. The second thing is the futon (this was the 3rd bed), I slept there and it was not...

"El lugar estaba abandonado, no se limpia , en el cuarto de baño había panes de jabón viejo en el piso y del tubo de lavareis el agua salía con tierra , signo de que nunca lonhan usado para lavar el baño. Estaba lleno de telarañas y había cucarachas . NO dormimos en toda la noche , pues la sábanas olían a polvo , en fin fue una experiencia memorablemente trágica,"

"The house is all you can expect and gives more than you need. A great place to spend your first days in Costa Rica, before we start to travel the country. Great and fast communication with the owner and staff. Very helpful with every question we had. We are happy that we can end our holiday at this location as well."

"From the picture, the property is actually smaller, there is no bbq grill so cooking becomes a problem if you want to cook meet. The running water was turned on hours after we arrived, and no Hot water at all. Makes taking a shower on rainy days a drag. Not enough pillows or the proper kitchen utensils. And trash was not picked enough, because I was told to put it under the house when full, so wild stray dogs would tear into the bags and drag trash all over yard. They need to get lidded trash...

"We loved our stay with Casey and Tamara, especially the outdoor kitchen and living spaces. It was very peaceful, located amongst banana and coffee plants. The location is great, although 4 wheel drive is recommended. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely accommodation, with great hosts."

"This property is an oasis. There was fruit growing everywhere. The differences of plants and trees is like nothing we saw while in Costa Rica. Very memorable and our host was very helpful throughout the whole time we were there. FYI when they say you need 4x4 there are not joking around. We had a rental that had 4x4 and the road still made my stomach drop. Worth it if you can get to it."
