A little piece of Heaven!

We were met right at our taxi by staff, welcomed warmly with a complimentary drink and easy check in. Escorted to a beautiful, spacious room with balcony overlooking the sea. The restaurant was an extremely pleasant surprise, as we didn’t want to venture out after a long day of travel. It was modestly priced with excellent food and service. Only 4 rooms in this wonderful boutique hotel, which gives you the feel of having your own Villa. We highly recommend and look forward to returning when we return to this lovely country.

What a Gem in Dumaguete-Sibulan-San Jose area!

We felt at home at Star View Boutique Hotel. The staff was very accommodating- anticipating our every need. We loved the fresh fruit platter, and coffee. The kids especially loved the fried chicken- even the pickiest eater loved it! The pool was the funnest part for both adults and kids, with the swing, hammocks, and other rest areas on the sides. The room and living space themselves were very spacious, and functional- except the TV that was defective but we really didn’t use it, except to entertain the kids during downtime. For the negatives, the road going up the hotel was dirt rocky road of a very short distance but noticeable enough because it is steep and coarse. Another is in the bathroom, the lack of anti-slip material in the generously-sized shower area: not for young and elderly guests because floor was slippery. Over-all, I highly recommend the place for families- it’s the perfect place to stay when in the Dumaguete area for families and several group of friends!

Room was in great condition and the staff was attentive and friendly. I got the room with 2 queen beds, there were 2 couples on the trip, however upon arrival we were charge, we had to pay for the other couple on the trip. stating that it was only 2 people booked, but the room could accommodate 4. Also power went out a few times, being in the philippines, it was a hot night, difficult to sleep. and the driveway was an uphill climb, good thing we had a 4x4. Place was clean, and quiet. The pool was big for the group.

Ein Juwel außerhalb von Dumaguete. Das Resort hat nur vier Zimmer / Suiten. Sehr groß, sehr sauber. In dem schönen Garten befindet sich der Pool sowie in einem separaten Gebäude die Reception, Küche und Restaurant. Sehr ruhige ( und etwas abgelegene Lage). Allerdings kein Problem, der sehr oft fahrende Bus ist in drei Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das gesamte Team, dass unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit ist. Ich habe so viele Tipps bekommen wie was zu machen ist 👍 Und das Essen ist außergewöhnlich gut und lecker. Einziger kleiner Nachteil ist die sehr schlechte Qualität des Internets in dem Zimmer. Auf dem Balkon und im Restaurant dann okay.

Petit hôtel de 4 chambres avec des espaces communs très soignés. Le personnel est aux petits soins, et le restaurant est très convenable. L'hôtel est en retrait de la route principale et domine la mer, mais sans moyen de transport cela peut être compliqué de loger ici. L'hôtel nous a arrangé une location de scooter, qui nous a été très utile. A noter qu'il n'y a pas d'accès à la mer, et pas de plage. Bon point de chute pour ceux qui veulent aller vers Twin Lakes, Sand bar, ou vers le sud de Cebu.
