Very Good

Exceptional and kind owner and staff. They were good listeners, informative about area and safety, engaging, and caring.
Americans and Europeans should learn more about cultural and living standards before going so as not to be shocked by room layouts and bathroom designs and bed placement as well as lack of face cloths. Also, lack of screened windows. Refrigeration prep and ice buildup are concerns.
I was very pleased with the flexibility of owner and staff. They all showed concern and looked after my travel companion and me. I loved the location and access to a myriad of transportation, recreation, culture, cafes, shopping, entertainment, educational sources and resources. Overall, my stay was magnificent!
Muito obrigado.

Disliked: Amenities
Our 1 night stay at Casadalucia Pousada was beyond terrible due to the place being unhabitable. Upon our arrival, we noticed cracked mirrors on the walls as we walked towards the reception. Our room door was actually a closet door installed as a room door, the lock was not secure and wobbly, we were given a skeleton key that took us around 10 minutes to unlock the door. We had to use our cell phone light to be able to see the door knob, hallway light was as dim as a night light. Inside the room we noticed wooden windows with missing glass pieces with access to inside to the room. Some of the bed linens were actually tablecloths and one of them had menstruation blood stains on it. The bunkbeds were made from a futon mattress and missing/broken wood rails held up with cardboard, also metal nails sticking out. Under my bunkbed I found a sealed bathroom pipe with black mold/gunk surrounding it. The larger bed was made from a futon mattress placed over a large plywood covered with the outer lining part of a mattress. One of the walls was covered with a white lace curtain and we discovered a large hole leading to outside, this is an area between the hotel walls with black mold and electric wires, there was also a ladder, perhaps a peeping Tom? This horrendous pousada hotel has been the worst experience of our life. The building should be condemned due to the significant health hazards. Expedia shouldn’t advertise places like this.

Pousada familiar, respeitosa e rustica. Café da manha básico, satisfatório e bom. Custo benefício excelente. Local extremamente seguro.
Pousada localizada no coração do Pelourinho. Adoramos.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Atendimento ok,
Café da manhã ok,
Acessibilidade ok,
