"Pleasant property and host Jean-Christophe. After road trip we were looking forward to cup of tea, but no tea & coffee facilities in room.
Hadn't planned to travel for dinner but appreciated the restaurant reservation in Perigeux at Hercule Poireau (cave) restaurant, great atmosphere, personable staff and beautifully presented, delicious cuisine.

"When we arrived we asked where we should park. We were told park along the street and at the pay and display, to get a three hour free ticket. I specifically asked if that three hour ticket would be enough to get us till the free parking at night and was told yes. She was wrong."
"Great staff, secure covered parking, clean rooms. Not the nicest part of town, but close to trains and within walking distance of the historic city centre. The dingy hallways detracted from the nice rooms, reception and breakfast areas. "
"A lovely welcome to the hotel with full information about security, car park and features on the comfortable room.
An excellent restaurant was recommended - Chez Fred. "
"We had our wedding venue there. The staff especially Julie were all excellent. Nothing was a problem and they were accomidating with all our requests. "
Old farmhouse renovated in a 3 hectares estate in Dordogne
10/10 Excellent
"A lovely break - the house was pretty much as described. The pool is great - the outside eating space is fantastic and there are 3 big fridges to keep everything cold. The living accommodation is great and it really is a lovely house. Tennis court is in good nick - but bring your own racquets and balls as the stuff there is not great.Thierry - who sorts out any issues was great and really responsive. A few small negatives - the oven is pretty useless and I see that previous reviews have mentioned this - a low cost solution that would make things easier for guests. Secondly - there are no restaurants within walking distance as in the description - but some good ones a short drive away. Finally - you have to pay to use the bikes in the photos - 20 euros a bike - just so you are aware these are not included. "
