About this property

Charming chalet in the mountains

  • Charming chalet in the mountains



    Chalet located in a quiet corner at the entrance of Saint Laurent en Grandvaux (shops, post office, restaurants, tourist office......) at an altitude of 900 meters, in a small village in the Jura. The proximity of the ski slopes, snowshoeing and walks as well as the resorts of Les Rousses, and Bellfontaine make it an ideal place to spend a pleasant family holiday with a covered and heated swimming pool waiting for you. A casino has opened its doors opposite the chalet... It is looking forward to you for slot machine players and other things.

    Bedding sheets can be provided for an additional fee.

    I don't take care of making the beds for the tenants who come with a pet (experience done this summer and the sheets and duvet covers were full of hair).





    PS: tenants who rent the chalet and who add more people after concluding the rental. They will be charged 25 euro per day and per person. Please take note.

Someone has complained in other comments about the road noise and view from the balcony. There is some road noise but we would prefer that to noise coming from other Chalet's and we had silence from other occupants. We just watched the world go by on the road below and listened to the birdsong from the trees and fed them on the balcony. The Boulangerie 5 minutes walk away was service with a smile and their breads and pastries delicious. Our only slight negative was lack of internet/WiFi. The question always is "Would we return". The answer is "yes"

La cuisine était très bien. Une très belle terrasse où nous avons passé d’agréables moments au soleil.Pour la piscine, elle n’était pas accessible à cette période.

Proche des lacs et randonnées cascades

Très joli chalet , confortable, il serait peut être bon de préciser sur l’annonce qu’il n’est pas possible de se garer à côté , toutefois parking juste à côté très pratique , et qu’il y a une légère montée à faire à pied avant d’accéder , non dérangeant pour nous mais pour des personnes qui auraient des soucis de déplacements cela pourrait être utile Bon séjour !

Un chalet bien équipé à proximité de nombreuses activités

Le chalet est confortable et bien équipé, la terrasse est spacieuse et l'accès plutôt facile même s'il faut monter quelques marches. La piscine a beaucoup plu aux enfants. Beaucoup d'activités nature à proximité : randonnées, cascades, lacs, forêts, visites... St Laurent est plutôt peu touristique et calme : on n'y est pas pollué visuellement par les enseignes ou les boutiques. Les seuls bémols: la proximité d'une route assez fréquentée avec un centre d'exploitation de la DIR de l'autre côté... mais les nuits restent bien tranquilles. De super vacances en familles!
