"This is the perfect place to stay to see Lyon from up above. We enjoyed the short walk to the Basilica and Roman theatre. We also took the funicular down to the old town for crepes and ended up staying for dinner. We wouldn’t have know about this without the team at the hotel. The breakfast was lovely, but a bit squashed in. But this is the case in a historical building. "

"Absolutely overrated. Rooms are for nostalgic French seniors, with antique furniture of another period that are not even pretty. Too many gaps to mind all over the property, starting with elevator. "

"Exceptional service from the front desk, Aminata was particularly attentive to our needs. Breakfast was excellent, fresh squeezed orange juice, freshly baked croissants, pains au chocolat, madeleines, French crêpes, 6 different “Bonne Maman” jams, large selections of coffee types….."

My only recommendation is that I got repeatedly lost trying to find the location from the train station Part-Dieu...would be helpful if there was a map or specific directions how to get to the hotel from the train station (apologies if I missed it).
