The cottage accommodates up to 15 people in 320m2. It consists of 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and 7 toilets. Transformed into a gîte in 2006, we took it over in April 2021. Ideal for your gatherings with family / friends! Located in Saint-Dier-d'Auvergne in Livradois Forez, it offers 7 very comfortable rooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet. The common areas are cozy and the exteriors huge with 1 large playground. Bakery & grocery store: 2min walk.
Housing :
The total surface is 320m2 distributed as follows:
Ground floor: A 30m2 living room with a large fireplace and its stove for the winter as well as a television (Deezer, netflix). A 30m2 dining room and its farmhouse table for your meals. The kitchen is large and very well equipped (oven, gas, very large fridge). In the utility room there is a toilet, a washing machine and a dryer.
On the 1st floor: 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 triple) share 2 bathrooms with WC.
On the 2nd floor: 4 bedrooms (3 doubles and 1 quadruple) each with its own bathroom and private WC. A second living room with games for adults and children.
1 private garden: Equipped with a terrace, a large garden dining room, a plancha. It overlooks the meadow and the rest of the land which is shared with the owner.
1 park of 1.5 Ha: play area for children (trampoline, hut, swing, slides, games in the sand) and play area for adults (petanque, table tennis, molkky, badminton), the stream.
We provide everything you need for babies: high chairs, deckchairs, baths, up to 3 travel cots and small toys.
Our gîte is not air-conditioned but there is no need for it: the 1 meter thick granite walls keep the coolness perfectly in summer. In winter, we heat with a pellet boiler. You can also enjoy the warmth of the wood stove (€10 per basket with kindling, logs and firelighters, on request).
The double rooms are modular thanks to our Queen Size beds which separate into 2 single beds if necessary (ideal for children or yoga courses / retreats to share your room but not your bed).
We also accept dogs that are clean, well behaved and sociable with children and cats (we have 2). Please inform us at the time of booking (10€/animal and/night will be requested). We ask that dogs stay in the common areas and do not access the rooms. Unfenced garden.
Good news: put your feet under the table for a meal and let us serve you! We offer an on-site catering service from 6 people (adults).
Choose with your group the menu you want to share. The Table du Relais menu is visible on our website. We offer a variety of dishes, with or without meat, a vegan option, and a "local" choice to discover Auvergne gastronomy. We cook with love on site (in our private kitchen) with fresh, mainly local and seasonal products.

Family reunions, birthdays, festive but quiet occasions are welcome! On the other hand, no big alcoholic parties.
The price indicated is for a maximum of 15 people. We can offer 5 extra beds for an additional fee. Please get in touch in this case.
On the day of your arrival, we are waiting for you from 5:00 p.m. We will set before an appointment time.
Departure is before 11am.
For weekend reservations you can leave at 2:00 p.m. if there is no reservation after you. To be validated together a few days before your arrival.
End of stay cleaning, washed linen bed linen (beds made upon your arrival), bath linen and liquid soap, trash bags, tea towels, washable sponges, dishwasher tablets, dishwashing liquid and basic groceries: €200 service obligatory.
Fiber and WIFI everywhere in the accommodation. 4G is very good in the village and the house.
You can park up to 5 cars on site. Other free places are available a few meters from the cottage.
