I had a long list of complaints about this hotel when asked on checkout. Most important bits were: the fact that the radiators didn't work; the air conditioning unit that is outside the window is running all night which makes it very noisy; and the bathroom was mouldy. I was really disappointed though as the outside looks promising and the foyer area was welcoming.
The room smelled like a KFC and all our clothes left during the day in the room smelled so bad. Also, despite originally saying there was a free parking space, this space wasn't available. The solution to them was to go to a near by ASDA parking and wake up at 7.30 AM before the shopping centre would open.. We found ourselves another solution. The position of the hotel is good but we didn't have a good experience overall.
My wife and I have travelled throughout the U.K. over the past few years stopping in many hotels and B & Bs of mixed standards. We can honestly say this is one of the best, if not THE best we have had the pleasure of visiting. The staff, a young long blonde haired girl (student) couldn't have made our stay better. Nothing was to much trouble. Rugby itself has a lot of charm and interesting places.

Nice hotel in town centre.
Nice big room and bathroom. Very clean and pleasant staff. Only problem was in the morning we were in a hurry and shower would not work!! To be fair the receptionist offered us another room but we were checking out. She was very apologetic.

Good breakfat
Passable room for one night. They double charged me, but I think that will be sorted. Not clear where to park. Very nice staff & breakfast
A pleasing hotel in the city centre of Rugby. The hotel itself is very good, the staff were excellent. Car parking is problematic, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Friendly Staff always willing to help
The Hotel was well situated in the town centre close to all the shops and bars.
We only had a couple of days stay but the staff were very welcoming and helpful with ideas of places to go and sites to visit.
One minor problem is the issue of parking or lack of it. Although they do have a concession for parking in the nearby multi story car park, there is no access to the entrance of the hotel by road as it is in a pedestrian way.

Lovely Staff, pity about the Wifi
The room was fine although it was a little dated. Being one of the hottest days of the year I was disapointed to have no aircon. The location was amazing for the centre of town and restaurants as well as being close to my place of business. I was most dissapointed by the wifi as I had chosen the hotel so I could work, the wifi kept dropping out and was very bad connection but I was told that this was usual throughout the hotel.
Great staff, especially at breakfast where they went the extra mile.
Very central, and easy to find. The food was also great.
Only annoying thing was that I had to book a family room rather than a twin, because I had a child, despite there still only being two people.
P.s. I hate having to fill in the would you recommend question. Why is it obligatory?

Great location
The actual hotel is very nice the reception bar and restaurant excellent. We experienced the full English breakfast which was exceptional.
The rooms are relatively small and our room was cold but the hotel had thought of putting a small heater in there. But unfortunately if you didn't keep the door open in the bathroom this became extremely cold. And the tea and coffee making equipment could do with being updated. But overall a very pleasant stay and ideally located
