"We loved everything about the Gainsborough, the staff were very helpful, the Spa was brilliant, the room was clean and today, also the maid was very polite and helpful. We were also upgraded to the Gainsborough suite as we mentioned it was our 25th anniversary so this was a plenty surprise, the hotel went above and beyond as they laid on a complementary fridge of drinks, a bottle of wine and a big box of Bath cheeses. Truly wonderful stay - thank you we come again."

"The room was very clean and well designed. The bed was comfortable for me (very tall). The bathroom pod was well designed and deceivingly spacious. This comment may seem a bit strange but we were impressed that the toilet paper was of high quality. The staff were outstanding both courteous, friendly, efficient and without fuss. Dealing with our luggage before and after check-in/out was very helpful. One difficulty we faced was the closing of the bathroom door which required a strong lift in order to avoid a loud enough bang to disturb other guests. "
