Shared bathroom is a problem
There is a 24 hour desk reception even though the reservation says there is no one present after hours. We checked in at 11pm. But no one picks up the phone because the phone is at a different location. There is an elevator to take luggage up to the 5 floor where the hotel is located. The front desk was very nice and accommodating and even provided us with 2 bottles of water. The AC did not work as it is controlled centrally . But it was okay as we left the balcony door open to let in cool air. The only problem was the shared bathroom. There were many people checked into other rooms so it always seemed occupied and it was not clean. I didn’t feel like using the shower as the bathroom was not clean.

I booked a night to have some rest before I go to airport.
The local area is very close to Roma Termini Train station which is good.
But there are rubbish and homeless everywhere, bad smell too.
The service is very bad, the staff asked my arrival time, I made it clear I will arrive at 2 pm and leave at 8 pm, so I will not stay a night.
When i arrived at 2:15 pm, there is no staff here and the elevator service has to request in advance, which is totally unacceptable. the hostel is at 5th floor!! I waited until 3pm to checked in. No towel and no amenities at all......... I called the staff, the staff said he will give me after 30 mins which he doesn't. I went out to shop in supermarket, when i came back, the staff shut down the electricity and did not notive the guest at all. No AC and nothing is working.

This hotel is in an excellent location.
Check in/Check out horrible. We waited 1 hour for the someone to come. They also had our booking wrong. The WiFi is weak and doesn't work properly in the room.
Bathroom is out of room, breakfast bar is out too.
It's near from Termini station walkable..But bathroom is out of room, and breakfast bar is out of the hotel building. They will serve you 1 Croissant and 1 cup of coffee: however if you ask more, they will offer you. ^^
Nice hotel..
I had some very noisy and chainsmoking young Italians as neighbors. They seemed to be living in their hotel room for a longer period and treated the place like it was a student dorm. The smoke crept into my room, the corridor and the bathrooms. Apart from that: A centrally located place in need of repair, but cheap and with a helpful receptionist. Via Varese is a nice, relatively quiet street.
A éviter absolument.

Don't expect more than an affordable place to lay
Nice staff. Was not aware we would have a shared bathroom. We were not wanting on and the listing said external not shared. It should be more clearly stated in the future. Although the staff was nice, the room was difficult to sleep in because the walls were paper thin. I could hear people walking. talking, and breathing in the hallways and their rooms. Also, people tend to arrive late back to their rooms... which is fine, except that every single night, a guests forgets or doesn't have their key to the door, so they just stand there pushing the buzzer for what seems like forever until they successfully wake up a guest who can let them in, because staff leaves around 5-530. Breakfast wasn't that great but Rome is expensive so we were grateful.
I picked this accommodation because of it's close distance to the Termini station which offered good transportation possibilities through out the city of Rome, and also transportation to the two airports. When getting to the reception, and seeing how there was no one there, first I waited for a short while, then I rang a bell, but no one was there. It took me about 20 minutes to see a sign with a button on the wall just outside the reception door that gave a call signal to the receptionist, who showed up very fast right after. Even though it was not managed 24/7, I could be out late and come back in with no problem as I was given my own keys to the bulding and my room.
The walls between the rooms were obviously thin as one could hear very intensively when someone was in the shower, or played music on the next room. Rome can be very warm during June, but thankfully it was just about 20-24 degrees and I did not need the AC, but it would have been nice to be able to turn it on by myself as. I did not find any button or remote to turn it on. Overall if you are stayin in Rome for a quck visit and plan to spend fairly little time in the room, then this place is a convinient choice - good value for the money and its location.
The reception desk was never open and therefore there was never anyone to get help from. The walls are paper thin and there were some very ignorant guests making a lot of noise, but with no staff on site there was nothing to be done and we were given no way to contact them if needed. The showers looked as if there was black mold on the roof. Location was good but that's about all.
