Welcome Home was in a great location and staff were pretty friendly. A lot of the interior and furniture were a bit outdated and the bathroom could use some work. Property could use some deep cleaning as some furniture was dusty and tv was not plugged in. I attempted to plug the tv in but was met with a cloud of dust. Overall was an okay stay and a good/easy location w easy access to public transport and walking distance if you are trying to see all the monuments.
Location, location, location! We couldnāt have asked for a better spot to stay and explore Rome. The service was also excellentāsuper responsive and helpful. Despite being in such a central area, it was surprisingly quiet, and we all had a great nightās sleep. The shower setup was a bit tricky and caused some water to spill, but the staff addressed it right away. Overall, a fantastic stay!
I really enjoyed my stay! It was within walking distance of the central train station and the Roman Forum, there were lots of restaurants nearby, and I felt like it was a safe area. The room itself was clean and comfortable.
Staff were quick to respond via email to any questions and made check in/out easy and quick. Very quiet inside.
Very close to metro and train station which was convenient for getting to the airport. Area felt safe at night, 10 min walk from Trevi Fountain which is nice to visit late.
Hotel was what we expected (no surprises is good!). Staff was very nice with great communications leading up and during our stay.
Room was clean with all the necessary comfort that was stated. A/C worked great since it was a very hot summer.
Location was very favorable (train, walking distance to many visitor places, and close to cafe's bars, etc...). Also, safe neighborhood.

Not for spoiled people
The room was very nice decorated, however the ac wasn't strong enough, the room itself was not well aired (scent of dust).
Very low water pressure during the night (during the day it was fine).
The location is good, on a main street.
We had such a lovely time staying at the Welcome House. We arrived after chdck in had closed but instructions were clear and the hotel arranged a taxi at an additional cost which we requested. The room was very large, more than enough space for our family of 4. We liked that we had breakfast every morning in our room (croissants, juice and coffee). The first morning we were leaving early to travel to Florence but were provided with croissants to take with us whichbwas nice. The location is great. Close to the train station and also to many main sites. We managed to walk everywhere.
We liked the rustic feel and the building that the hotel was in.
We would stay there again and would reccomend.
Itās a good room. Very to the point. Breakfast could be better rather than just bread; skip this, loads of options in a walking radius.
Clean linen has to be asked for incase of a long stay

Honest and fair review
Where should I start. I almost broke my ankle getting inside the room because thereās a huge DROP when you open the door. It was dark and I fell. Then the bathroom has a giant step so in the middle of the night you need a flashlight so you donāt trip. The hotel itself is unique. The hotel just has some suites in an old building. Thereās a front desk but itās only occupied 9-2. So most of the time I used whats app to reach people. The beds are horrible and hurt our backs. The shower head sprayed at the side wall which makes no sense. The door had a huge gap so all the water would leak. Pros: The A/C worked really well, room was clean and espresso machine was great. Felt pretty safe. Very central location to grocery store, train, and major attractions. Staff was very friendly and receptive. Sorry but would not stay here again ā¹ļø

The room was serviceable. Room was quiet. Bathroom shower door was problematic and would leak water everywhere- 1st world problem but annoying with limited towels and multiple people in the room. Blow dryer was not good
BLACK MOLD EVERYWHERE. This stay was disgusting and such a let down as our initial impression of Rome. There was no sign outside. Felt sketchy. People smoking nonstop in the lobby. The reception was on the fifth floor (different to our assigned floor. The elevator was BROKEN, it only worked from the 2nd floor and upwards (third floor counting Ground Floor) we had to carry our heavy luggage and climb 3 long flights of stairs everyday after a draining day of walking nonstop for hours. The AC felt nonexistent. The shower door didnāt close properly. The shower itself was smaller than those on cruise ships (Iām normal sized weight and would hit my elbow with the corners). There was extremely evident black mold on the walls within the room and bathroom (no one has passed an inspection in centuries because this hotel would clearly get shut down for this health hazard). Iām usually a very active and healthy individual and I got sick from the humidity and had horrible allergies (which of course went away as soon as I left). The actual room was very old and run down compared to next door hotels. Since it was hot inside, we would open the window a slight bit to let in the cool air but the noise levels outside were unbearable to sleep. The only benefit was the location which was close to a nearby bus stop and minutes away from the Roma Termini station. I would have left and asked for a refund but most nearby hotels were sold out being a last minute change so I decided to tough it out.
