The hotel was ok but not taken care of!! There is no room service and in 9 days no bed sheets changed and the towels changed only once!!! The owner is nice and helpful but he needs to take care of the facilities more!! The breakfast was not really a breakfast but some sweet snacks and coffee!!

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice and big, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was just packaged crossaints and coffee, but it was enough. The location was great since it was outside of the really touristy area but still very close to the Vatican and all the other sites. We loved it!

A nightmare

I had bad experience with St. Peter’s House. I have reached to hotel around 11:30PM; but they didn’t open the gate and allowed me to check-in. I had to search hotel on my own and got hotel around 00:45 AM. This is totally disappointing to add that on that morning I had called Hotels.com to inform that B&B was telling that they will not allow me to check-in after 10PM. Where as Hotels.com confirmed that somebody named Marco from same B&B confirmed that I can still check-in at any time as my flight will reach Rome around 9:30PM. I will appreciate if you can refund the hotel cost and along with that if you can ensure that the experience what I had on that night, your other customers shouldn’t face to book rooms in St. Peter’s House.

Mean, irresponsible staff

This hotel had us let them know an exact time of arrival, and then no one was there to let us in! We rang and rang and, since it's in an apartment building, eventually disturbed the concierge who came out and had to call the hotel and get them to come over and let us in. They offered no apology. When we payed, we showed them that our reservation said it included taxes when they tried to charge us more taxes and fees. Instead of trying to resolve this amicably, the hotel concierge screamed at us. We didn't pay the extra taxes and fees, and so he was outside our room the next morning screaming at us again. Awful. DO NOT STAY HERE.
