My wife and I were given a nice, quiet and clean place to just relax after a long day of sightseeing. Cold and hot water available in the shower. All and all we were satisfied.
Short walk from the Termini station, quiet, with lots of restaurants around the area and mini market too. The breakfast is a plus given the rate, and the lady serving breakfast is really nice and warm. Would book again if will come back to Rome.
Amazing stay so clean near the centre and amazing value

Location was good (walking distance to Termini) room was comfortable, however, we only had 2 pillows which was uncomfortable for 2 people when watching tv. Our room had a funky smell from the products used to clean it and after the first night, when they come to do our room, the bathroom smelled worst than a sewage. The fridge didnt cool a thing and the "air-con" only made noise, did not cool the room at all.
Breakfast had nothing nutritional in it, all sweets, coffe and tea weren't great.
Very convenient place to stay. The building does not have the name of the hotel on the outside. The building have various different hotels on each of the building floors. Room very clean, private bathroom very clean. Two blocks from termini station. Convenient store, pharmacy and places to eat within walking distance. Would definitely come back on my next visit to Rome.
Vey near the main train station, but quite quiet place. The hotel entrance is a bit hidden.
Room is in front of the lobby at the other side of the street and doesn't get the wifi of the hotel. The room has a good space.
The check-in staff were very pleasant and friendly and the room was was nice and generally clean and in a good location beside the Termini station. Two things that bothered us a little though were, the air conditioning didn't work so the room got quite warm if you didn't open the window at night, it sounded as if it was running but there was no air blowing from it and the second is was the shower head could do with being replaced as it is old and sprays water in random directions because the holes are scaled up probably.
Conveniently located close to the train/bus station, but at the same time in a quiet street, so a perfect location. Friendly welcome, I could leave my suitcase until official check-in time. My booked deluxe room was in a building across the street, it was newly renovated, clean, housekeeping came every day.
The only 2 minus points were: there was no toilet seat on the toilet. I informed the receptionist right away, she promised to take care of it, but nothing happened until my departure 4 days later. Rather uncomfortable.
With night temperatures just above freezing point, there was no blanket in the bed, just a thin bedspread. So I needed to turn on the air condition on warm during the entire night. I would have preferred a warm blanket in a cooler room.
Besides those 2 points, the hotel was perfect for what I wanted and for the price I payed.
Clean, affordable little place close to the train station and plenty of nearby nice cafes. Surrounding neighborhood is interesting, and seemed safe while we stayed there
Very good for the money and close to city center. Building has a cool old elevator. Kind of hard to find the check in place but they walk you to your room. Area around the hotel wasn't too sketchy and I never felt uneasy.

This was a lovely place to stay. Unfortunate that the water was out one night and it was another day before hot water was working. This was a building issue and not a lot was able to be done. They did have a suite available for use of bathroom for those who's bathroom wasn't working. These are the things that happen when travelling.
The room was small, but ok for just 2 days, the thing is, the ac didnt work, so we were trying to sleep in a room as hot as an oven. We called the reception and they just said "ok", the next day they changed us to another room, bigger, ac worked better, but not amazing, all good now, right? Wrong. The drain in the shower was clogged, with a black water coming from it, making a disgusting foam all over the shower floor, imagine not even can take a proper bath. Terrible. We told them about that and they said they would fix it, they didnt. It was a mess of a place.
This is a story worth to tell. The hotel is awful. The first night, the AC didnt work at all. The staff pretended to charge me €164 for that night, but I refused to pay that amount and they lowered it to €106. After we made the claim, the staff moved us to another building in front. The best part was reserved for the last day. We checked out and requested to the staff in the front desk if we could leave our luggage in the lobby, so we can walk around and eat something before catching our train to Venice. When we got back to the hotel, our luggage mysteriously disappeared not from the lobby but from the Hotel. After we claimed that someone at the hotel stole it (seven bags), some guy appeared at the hotel to pick us up and took us 20 minutes away from the hotel to recover all our luggage. We stopped somewhere in Rome in the middle of the road and some guy gave us our bags. Btw part of the staff dont even speak Italian, less English.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Cons:
- check in starts at 10 but room wasn’t ready at 1:30 when we got there, reception made us leave bags in main area, didn’t feel secure
- first room 216 ac does not work, portable ac unit in room does not have exhaust pipe so hot air blows out the back ( what is the point?)
- took hours to get a new room, 218 ac blows air but not cold, there was a fan as well
- receptionist at night took us across the street to try and give us a different room in another hotel? Smelt terrible like wet mold, so we said we’d rather just go back to original room. then suddenly he had another room available in our original hotel?
- bathroom smelt like urine
- doors had marks around the locks as if they had been broken into before, no deadbolt locks
- noisy street lots of emergency vehicles
Pros
- close to termini train station
- easy to hail a cab from Main Street
- new furniture in rooms, linen felt and looked clean, fridge worked
Overall would not go back as the service was not good from reception, little English spoken. The building is dated but the rooms are in good shape. If air conditioning is not a problem for you this is a fine place to stay but room got very warm. Convenient location for train and metro. Despite the marks on the doors we never felt unsafe, there’s lots of people coming and going, there are maybe 5 hotels in the same building. Didn’t not try the free breakfast so cannot comment. For 136$ CAD a night I feel there are definitely better options in the city.

The hotel was in a good location, just a few minutes walk from Roma Termini. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. The breakfast wasn’t great. No protein options, only pastries. Would have been nice to have some boiled eggs or anything else. The hotel is in an old building and shares with other hotels. It also has a different name: Alex Square Hotel. There are several signs for the different hotels within the building on the outside of the building, so it’s a bit confusing. But the check in desk is behind the elevator.
