Struttura pulita, molto silenziosa e molto comoda (tra metro Lepanto e Ottaviano) a 10 minuti dalla Basilica di san Pietro. Diversi ristoranti e bar di buon livello nelle vicinanze. Gentilissima Maria Vittoria che ti accoglie con il sorriso e con tanti consigli utili. Peccato non ci sia la colazione e che il prezzo non sia proprio economico, ma vale comunque la pena. Torneremo.

Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare alla Rovati Guesthouse durante la mia visita a Roma e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto dell’esperienza. La guesthouse si è rivelata sicura e silenziosa, offrendo un rifugio tranquillo dopo una giornata trascorsa a esplorare la città. La posizione è incredibilmente accessibile e comoda, situata a pochi minuti a piedi da Piazza San Pietro, il che ha reso facile raggiungere alcuni dei siti più iconici di Roma. La camera era pulita, ben arredata e dotata di tutti i comfort necessari per garantire un soggiorno piacevole. Il personale era cordiale e disponibile. Raccomando vivamente Rovati Guesthouse a chiunque cerchi un alloggio che coniughi comodità, accessibilità e tranquillità nel cuore di Roma.

Sehr ruhig gelegen, in einem sehr herrschaftlichen Gebäude nahe der U-Bahn Lepanto. Sehr sauber, und bequeme Betten. Schnelles Internet, freundlicher Empfang. Can not get better than this!

I wouldn’t recommend

Let’s start by saying that the pictures are way nicer than the real life. The building is old, cold and smell bad. Our room was full of problems: the water in the shower was not draining. There was a blood stain in our sheets. There was a big hole in the bathroom. The bed was the most uncomfortable, the mattress was so thin and also the pillows. The place was not clean, dirty carpet, I found stuff under the bed and the pillows had a dirty smell. We could hear everything from the other rooms, so with a 9 hours jet leg we couldn’t sleep in. We stayed 5 days because I paid in advance, I completely regret and my back still hurts from that mattress. This place almost ruined our visit in Rome. We were charged an extra 35 euros for tourist fee. The elevator looks unsafe, old and smelly we ended up taking the stairs most of times. Not fun since is on the 4 floor. Staff is very nice, but the place needs upgrades immediately!!!

The property’s location was quite honestly phenomenal. I highly recommend the area near the Vatican. However, Rovati’s listed amenities on Expedia are a complete fabrication. The room, while clean, was like a prison. The double bed was awful and basically a box spring, the worst pillows ever, not enough hot water in the shower for two guests, no room safe as advertised and no towel service at all. With all of that being said, Angela Rovati was responsive to general questions but had the audacity to charge the €20 late check-in fee despite not having anything that had been listed on their advertisement. I would highly recommend the area but absolutely do not stay at Rovati Guesthouse. You will be extremely disappointed. In fact, I will be contacting Expedia directly for a more formal complaint.

The proprietor really took care of us.

This place was great! The proprietor must have spent three or four hours taking care of us, trying to straighten things up with Expedia. And when that was not possible he found us another room even though Rome was 99% booked. A great place to stay, just DO NOT book it on Expedia! They have no problems with the other major services.

Rovati Guest House is ca 20-30 minutes to the centre of ancient Rome, really really close to Vatican City. It´s clear with everything you need for staying during the night and expoloring the Rome. Wifi. An italian bar ist opposite the hotel so it means you can get there great italian breakfast - cappuccino with "corneto" :-)

We will be back

We enjoyed stay at the Rovati Guest House immensely, our host Paolo was amazing, so helpful, warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The guest house was sat just up from a square with a fountain in which you could sit and watch the world go by. Ideally placed for the Vatican/St Peter's Square and local shops and restaurants. There was also a courtyard on the ground floor of the quest house. Rooms were large and airy and fully equipped.

Pros cancelled out the cons

This hotel was a good value choice for 2 recent graduates taking a 7 day holiday in Rome. The location was great for the Vatican, and wasn't too far of a walk to most of the key sites (or the metro station was just down the road). Paulo was great and really helpful, offering us advice on how to get around, however was not there to let us in as promised and we had to wait for him to arrive to check in. The room was small but decent, could have had a cleaner floor but on the whole was fairly clean. The beds were very uncomfortable and we could feel every spring, the main downside, but the blackout curtains, soundproofed walls and quiet area made up for it. Good value for money (we had a discount through Hotels.com), just wish the beds could have been nicer!

decent hotel close to public transportation

Hotel is close to metro station, shopping, and tourist attractions. Rooms are clean but beds are really uncomfortable. Rooms have limited to NO wifi connection. Hotel staff is friendly but rarely around, reception desk sat empty 4 of 5 days I stayed there. I would not stay here again with all the other options available.

Perfekt beliggenhet. Litt bort fra de mest folksomme områdene, men allikevel i et veldig attraktivt og hyggelig område. Veldig lite hotell med 5-6 rom. Man får det man betaler for, det er tross alt et guest house.
