Great Place, Great Price

This is absolutely the perfect place to stay if you're visiting Rome. Inexpensive and exactly what you're looking for. Also very wonderful location. Within walking distance to the major attractions. Highly recommend!

Angenehm nah an vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten

Das Macao Room ist in der Nähe vom Termini, mit Koffern angenehm zu erreichen. Bäckerei im gleichen Gebäudekomplex. Markt von Mo. Bis Sa. Vor der Tür. Wir haben dort Obst gekauft. Preiswert und lecker. Wer nicht so viel Wert auf Komfort legt empfehlenswert. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Vor- oder Nachteile wie man es nimmt hat das Frühstück, wir hatten eines der Zimmer mit eigenem Bad, das Frühstück musste man selbst herrichten. Kontinental? Für römische private Hotels aber Okay. Es gab Cornflakes, Toast, Käse , Milch, Saft, ... und durch den Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer konnte man das Frühstück aufpeppen. Kaffee haben wir dann lieber unterwegs getrunken, bei den vielen Kaffeebars.

The location is pretty good for exploring and travelling in and out of Rome. The place is itself is OK. We had to wait a bit for checking in and the bathroom is shared.

Rauhallinen ja puhdas

Todella puhdas! Sänky oli tosi hyvä sekä tyynyt. Aamiainen oli perus muroja ja kahvia ja paahtista. Respaa ei ole joten tulee ilmottaa milloin on perillä että ovat vastaanottamassa. Huoneita ei ole kuin kolme joten on erittäin rauhallistakin.

Bed & Breakfast im Hinterhaus (Studio)

Lage ist sehr gut und nah zu TERMINI, aber die Umgebung nicht sehr einladend. Besonders positiv : Keinerlei Strassenlärm, weil nur kleine Anliegerstrasse und das Studio im Hinterhaus liegt. Leider hat man aber keine Fenster mit Tageslicht (ausser Küchenzeile im Flur). Sauberkeit ist sehr gut, die Ausstattung eher ausreichend. Es reicht aber zum Frühstücken - Abendessen haben wir nicht zubereitet, dazu fehlen doch noch Töpfe und Kochgerätschaften. Den 4-Flamm-Gasherd mit Backofen haben wir nicht getestet. Frühstücksausstattung haben wir mit Brot, Wurst und Käse selber aufgewertet.

A Real Hidden Gem!

The hotel manager greeted us and explained where everything was, she was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable with our accommodations. Would definitely stay here again.

それなりに綺麗です

部屋は改装されてるのか綺麗でした。特別不便はなし。 欠点はシャワーの水量が少ないのと、セントラルヒーティングで夜は暖房が効かなくなる事。 余分にブランケットは貰えたので寝る分には問題はなかったが。 レセプションは無く必要あればメールか電話で対応。朝食はパンとコーヒーメーカーが共有スペースに設置され勝手にどう ぞと。 コスパを考えるとそこまでは高いレベルではないが、まぁ普通です。

( 7 jours de rêve ) Dans un patio, entrée individuelle, escalier pour accéder à la location Grande chambre avec vue sur le patio ( SdB, couloir, micro cuisine donnant sur terrasse privative ) Calme, confortable, propre, PdJ à disposition, service très très bien. Rooms are ok but close to transit.

Rooms were clean and employee was nice and helpful. The location was great for us. We were in walking distance to Termini Station and to a lot of sites and restraurants. There was a street market right around the corner every morning. We stayed in two rooms during our 9 night stay. The first room was on the 4th floor and was one of two rooms in an apartment type of setting. We shared a kitchenette and bathroom. Wifi was not dependable at all. Air conditioner dripped the first night. They were quick to make repairs but we changed rooms primarily so we could have a private bathroom. We thought we would be ok with sharing a bathroom but were mistaken. The other guest were not bad but we realized we wanted our privacy. This room faced the street where a lot of noise was heard during the night coming from a local bar. The 2nd room was on the main floor. This room was clean and we had our own kitchenette, terrace, and bathroom. The private bathroom had some issues. The shower head did not stay locked into position and the toilet paper holder was missing the bar so it just sat on the heater. Not a huge deal but would be nicer if both were fixed. The Internet was not dependable in this room and that made our visit less favorable.

Superb and clean spot for a good price !

Super spot at a very nice price ! Very quiet even in busy Rome. You have a quiet "garden" amongst the surrounding walls made by the appartment blocks ! You CANNOT get more typical and real "Rome". Need a spot in Rome in the vicinity of Termini station ? Don't hesitate !

Schoon, betaalbaar en uitstekend locatie , maar.

Het hotel is schoon, betaalbaar en ligt op een uitstekend locatie. Privé (thuis) gevoel is helaas minimal . Er is geen vaste tijden voor het schoonmaken van kamers. Twee keer (om12:30 , 14:30) waren we terug van buiten om uit te rusten maar de mevrouw was aan het schoonmaken. Als ze schoonmaakt kan men de wc en de douche ook niet gebruiken laat staan de kamers! We kregen het gevoel dat we onder controle waren!. Er is meestal een man in de kleine keuken die ons in de gaten houdt. We wisten niet wie eigenlijk in het hotel werkt. laatste nacht kwam een vreemde vrouw en zat zwijgend urenlang tegenover onze kamer. Communicatie was ook minimaal. Laatste nacht wisten we niet aan wie we de sleutels moeten inleveren. In Nederland zijn we gewend aan afscheid woordjes van personeel en vragen over hoe het reis was en wensen om terug te keren.....

Fantastisk stad...trevligt hotell. Gångavstånd från hotellet till många historiska platser. Maten och restaurangerna i de små gränderna var fantastisk. Kan varmt rekommendera både hotell, läge och stad.

hôtel qui n'en est pas un!!!!!!!

Ns sommes arrivés ds une rue où l'hôtel n'est pas indiqué puisque ça n'en est pas un ; mais un appartement rénové avec 3 chambres louées!!!!!Mauvaise surprise!!!Un misérable coin petit déjeuner ( on doit le prendre ds la chambre!)avec des biscottes, du fromage fondu, du jus en boite, du beurre)Un congélateur qui ne marche pas, comme la cafetière.... Pas de service à la demande vu que personne durant le séjour, à part la femme de ménage qui faisait la chambre.Une salle de bain vétuste, un balcon sur une cour intérieure délabrée....Un hôte sympathique lors de notre arrivée tardive que l'on a pas revu!!!!Super pour un w end de 3 jours, heureusement que la ville est dépaysante....Pour ns, une publicité mensongère lors de la recherche d'hôtel!!!!

혹시나 또 간다면 당연히 다시 이곳을 찾을것 같아요

너무 친절하고 방도 많지 않아 조용해서 좋았습니다. 조식도 다양하진 않아도 먹을만한것들만 간편하게 있어 좋았고 냉장고도 자유롭게 사용할 수 있어서 좋았습니다.

Really enjoyed it and loved the fact it was like staying in my own flat. My main issue was the pillows! So flat and uncomfortable...apart from that it was great location, close to Termini, flat was clean and tidy and service was good as well.

Vorsicht bei der Buchung - Absolute Enttäuschung

Bei der Buchung war leider nicht klar ersichtlich, dass es sich um ein Zimmer ohne Bad handelt. Hätten wir das gesehen hätten wir das nicht gebucht! Umbuchung wäre möglich, aber extrem kostspielig gewesen. Letztlich haben wir uns entschieden trotzdem das Zimmer zu nutzen, mit der Vorstellung, dass ein Gemeinschaftsbad in etwa so aussieht wie in einer Jugendherberge, mit mehreren Kabinen, nach Geschlechtern getrennt. Leider handelt es sich um eine 3 Zimmer Wohnung mit einem Bad und einer winzigen Küche. Das Zimmer ist okay, aber mehr auch nicht. Unser Zimmer war zu Straßenseite und dort war ab jeden Morgen 5 Uhr Markt! Extrem laut! Am Freitag Abend hatte zudem eine Kneipe oder Diskothek bis mitten in der Nacht in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft geöffnet. Schlafen mit offenem Fenster nicht möglich! Klimaanlage zwar vorhanden, aber nicht vertrauenserweckend. Das Badezimmer mussten sich also die 3 Zimmer teilen! Dementsprechend lang waren die Wartezeiten! Falls mal jemand morgens schnell zur Toilette muss, hat er ein Problem. Unsere "Mitbewohner" hatten es leider auch nicht so mit der Hygiene! Einmal am Tag kommt eine Reinigungskraft und den Rest der Zeit muss man mit dem Dreck leben. Das Frühstück ist ein Witz! Um 8 wird eine Packung billiger Toast in die Küche geschmissen. Dazu kann man sich fiesen Käse, Butter oder Marmelade aus dem Kühlschrank holen. Wir haben den gesamten Aufenthalt auswärts gefrühstückt und dadurch deutlich mehr Geld als geplant ausgeben müssen.
