Hotel Giada was very close to the train station. Good walkability. I had to ask for more towels and toilet paper. I didn't feel there was enough provided for the size of our group. Everything else was great. Comfortable
Great position very close to the Rail Terminal. Great breakfast kept us going for the day. Secure with 24 hour front desk. In walking distance of most of Rome’s main sites

Clean and very comfy beds. But property is dilapidated and in a state of repair. The breakfast is pretty basic and not worth paying for - there are tons of breakfast options within 4-5 minutes of the hotel.

The day we arrived we got to the hotel earlier than expected but had to wait until 2pm for check in, which was okay since they let us store our baggage so we could eat and explore the city in the meantime. The room we initially got was small and dingy; there seemed to be mold on the far corner of the ceiling and the bathroom was cramped. Later on when one of us tried to hop in the shower, the water temperature kept changing from really cold to mildly warm. We went downstairs and asked if there was any other room for just one night, and thankfully the nighttime reception staff changed our room to a more comfortable and accommodating room. Overall, can’t complain for the price and the fact that we just needed a place to sleep, but glad the hotel was able to help make our stay better.
The only positive things about this hotel were it's location (5 min walk to Roma Termini) and daily cleaning of the room, other than that:
-Noise from machines outside til 02:00 in the morning.
-Practically no hot water despite letting the faucet run for several minutes.
-No towel hooks despite written instructions to put used on said hooks.
-Only one blanket for the double bed.
-Sewer smell on main floor when waiting for the elevator.
-Broken button panel for the elevator. The entire assembly got pushed in.
Room was small and quite dirty, old building where you could hear everyone in the corridor.
Booked Hotel Giarda, no signs outside today then hotel. You check in at a different hotel.
Pictures did not match the actual rooms. We were charged an additional €70 on arrival. On our last night we were awoke at 3am to loud music, singing and a drill coming from work people in the next room. We were awake for over a hour.
The hotel in general is rather dirty. There were brown stains on the sheets, the shower didn’t work properly, and the AC did not come with a remote. The area was great, but I would recommend either spending a bit more on a nicer accommodation in the area or staying a bit further out of the city in a nicer place.
The is no heater at all and when we asked on the reception the guy told us is going to work between 6pm and 11 pm. but it never worked. the sheets were too thin we asked for another one they gave us a small one.
It was very very cold all the time.

THIS PLACE IS A DUMP! The worst place that I’ve stayed. The property was not as advertised. no air conditioning or fan was provided and when asked I was told by the front desk to open the windows. The room has a foul unpleasant smell with water constantly running in the toilet making it difficult to sleep. It was a challenge to take a shower- the. Entire room is under water. After all these complaints no compensation was provided. I am also very disappointed in the lack of support from Expedia team in the matter. Good bye Expedia!
Gross! I booked a night here on my phone and didn’t see the other reviews until it was less than 48-hrs before check-in an it was too late to cancel. Dirty, noisy, loose and broken floor tiles in my room, sagging bed. I moved down the street to Golden Tulip for the same cost and it’s lovely, clean, terrazzo floors, filled with charm.
We arrived at the hotel at 10 PM and immediately began the check-in process. After 10 minutes, the staff member assisting us didn’t say anything and kept staring at his computer. When I asked if there was a problem, he nervously smiled and said yes without explanation. I asked for clarification, and he told me my reservation showed the 27th–28th, even though I had already paid around €80 to change it to the 25th–26th. I showed him the invoice from the Expedia app, which he photographed. After about 20 minutes, I mentioned I needed to retrieve my luggage from a nearby storage while he resolved it, but upon returning, he told me it was better to come back the next day, as the date change didn’t appear in his system. I had already explained that my return flight was the next day, so that wasn’t an option. I requested a refund, which he denied. I stressed that this needed to be resolved, as I had paid and spent over two months trying to contact them, and even Expedia received no response. Finally, around 11 PM, we were given a double room with broken curtains, a damaged toilet lid, and a bathtub in terrible condition. The service was extremely unprofessional. They only gave us the room because the lobby was crowded. This felt almost like a scam.

Receptionist sempre molto gentili e sccoglienti
It is the most dirty bathroom that I’ve ever seen. It smells like sewage water, spreading the smell to the bedroom. We asked the staff about the smell and they changed our room on the second day. The new bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the bathtub would leak water. The bathtub was also very high, which made it risky to enter. The rooms walls were also dirty and there was an exposed wire of the side. The mattresses were also very hard.

Très bien localisé près de la gare de Termini. Par contre l'entrée de l'hôtel Giada porte le nom hôtel Altavilla qui porte une confusion totale ! Au niveau de la chambre les rideaux ont besoin d'être réparés.
