Great location. Very clean and well
Maintained. Staff is helpful and friendly. Room is very small and a/c takes a long time to cool the room. Only an inconvenience during summer months. Would return if it’s not summer.

Paid a premium price based on the listing images. These facilities did NOT live up to the images. The rooftop hot tub was a disgrace. Broken head rest, destroyed and removes controls. Cold water with dead bugs floating. Badly maintained. Staff were helpful but not friendly. Indoor spa was strange. Only 4 people allowed into a dark room with hot tub. In an adjacent area was a small indoor pool unheated. Very strange setup. Not worth the price.
This is our 4th time staying at this hotel, and we absolutely love coming back whenever we visit Rome.
The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The hotel is consistently clean and well maintained, and the breakfast is always delicious with a great selection.
A special shoutout to Read (I apologize if I’ve spelled his name incorrectly), who worked at the front desk during our stay. He was absolutely amazing. so friendly, helpful, and attentive. He really made us feel welcomed and taken care of.
We’ll definitely be back again on our next trip to Rome!
Clean, nice sized rooms, with a helpful staff. The property is walking distance to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. There is a taxi stand near the hotel (taxi’s in Rome via ride share apps can be challenging). A train station to get to the Colosseum and other attractions is within walking distance. The breakfast buffet is excellent! There is a small, limited fitness center. Over all a good stay, we will recommend it to family and friends.
It was clean, noise free, hence could sleep soundly. Bathroom had empty bath gel bottle, but was filled after calling front desk. Staff were helpful and welcoming
We were very satisfied with our room because it was very big and spacious. And the bathroom was huge. Even though the decor was a bit outdated, it had a luxurious feel to it. And they provided 4 pairs of slippers for our family of 4 which is nice because most of the time at other hotels, we just get 2 pairs even though we booked for 4 so it’s nice that they actually gave us 4 pairs of slippers. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub but I heard it’s very nice. The location is also excellent, pretty central and close to downtown and a lot of attractions are within walking distance like the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Even the Colisseum isn’t too far. Overall I definitely recommend staying at this hotel
The hotel was amazing. On arrival they air con wasn't working properly. They tried to sort it out. They couldn't fix it. They ended up changing our room. Great service and cleanliness. I will use this hotel again.
Hotel 87 is on a busy street in the central area of Rome but the room was able to block the noise. Very accessible to public transportation. Walking distance to Trevi fountain (5 min), Pantheon (10 min), very short walk to shopping area. Restaurants are short walking distance. Convenience store is close by. Staff was very helpful (shout out to Red and bar staff on the 5th floor). Facility is clean.
Staff is always on point and attentive. Everytime i come to rome i always stay here for how great they are. Also, location is perfect if yoy want to stroll by the trevi fountain at any time.
Being in the annex is good and bad, you're far away to check out and go to gym etc. but its handy as well. It's a really central area and the rooms are lovely, clean, spacious and warm.
Excellent location, a few minutes walk from the Metro station and less than 10 minutes to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. The Colosseum is also walkable. Great places to eat nearby. The hotel has a restaurant, the food looked lovely although we didn’t get time to eat there. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was a nice touch having mini cookies and drink in the lobby. Would definitely recommend.
