The hotel upon first entry looks like a hostel or office building converted to a hotel. After a day in the hotel, I had no issues with it. It was clean, quite and with abundant AC which was very essential in Rome during summer. The owner met us for breakfast and helped us get breakfast in an adjasent cafe. The hotel is 15 minutes walk to St. Peters Bascillica and all the attractions of Vatican city.

Grazioso B&B nel centro di Roma.

Tre giorni a Roma trascorsi benissimo. B&B al centro della città, a due passi da San Pietro e da altri luoghi di interesse. Metropolitana linea rossa a due passi. Servizio complessivamente buono. Ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo, personale gentilissimo.

Am besten Hotelshuttle buchen

Gute Lage nah am Vatikan, sauber und funktionell, Adapter für unsere Stromstecker waren z.B. vorhanden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Eine Mitarbeiterin konnte kaum Englisch, hat uns aber trotzdem mit "Händen und Füßen" den Weg zur Bushaltestelle erklärt indem sie mit uns raus auf die Straße gegangen ist damit sie es uns erklären kann. Das Frühstück war völlig okay, wir haben sogar zwei mal einen Cappuccino bekommen wenn wir danach gefragt haben. Es gab genügend Auswahl und man konnte dort auch nett sitzen. Im Prinzip war es im Zimmer sehr ruhig, man hat von den Nachbarzimmern nichts mitbekommen. Nachts musste man jedoch die Fensterläden komplett zu machen, da der Verkehr sonst ziemlich laut war (unser Zimmer war an der Straßenseite). Genau gegenüber war ein gutes Restaurant und der Simply Supermarkt war nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Bushaltestelle und Sbahn waren auch nicht weit entfernt. Domus Guesthouse hat uns einen Flughafenshuttle für Hin- und Rückreise gebucht. War alles super pünktlich und sehr zu empfehlen, da man das Guesthouse sonst vermutlich wirklich suchen müsste. Es hängt am Haus nämlich kein Schild mit Werbung.

Excellent location for Vatican Museums visit!

The hotel location was all I hoped for to visit the Vatican area. A leisurely 15 minute stroll through an upper middle class neighborhood past trendy boutiques, local cafes and grocers brings you to the Vatican tourist/business area with many transportation options available to visit the other sights in Rome. The hotel room was safe, secure, clean and furnished in a modern Ikea type style. Spacious enough for 2 people but there was only 1 chair no dresser and little room for luggage, the bathroom should have some shelving and hooks for your things it was of adequate size. The staff was friendly and helpful with a satisfying breakfast every morning served by a lovely young woman that prepares your cappuccino and espresso as well as running the day to day operations of the hotel. The only time I knew there were other guests was when we all came for breakfast! I definitely would stay here again when staying in Rome. Thank You, Domus Best - Guest House and Staff!

Excellent value

This is more a bed and breakfast with an open continental breakfast in the morning.. great coffee machine.. The staff are fantastic. Wifi is awful. But its there. Rooms are clean. Amazing amazing for what you pay. Not far at all from anything. Great cafes and restaurants in the area.

Great Location and Value

I booked this room for mom so she could stay in Rome while I was between work trips, so we were primarily interested in location, but both she and I were really impressed by Domus. It was her first time staying in a European style guest house, but she thought the room was lovely and comfortable. It was a little tricky to find, but the address is correct and a kind shop owner pointed us to the right door. I didn't see the owner in person, but we had great communication over email and phone. My mom found the location was a little noisy at first, but it quieted down at night and she appreciated all the restaurants and cafes. The best part was how close it is to the Vatican. For the money I would certainly book here again if I had business in this part of Rome.

Clean, comfortable and close to the city center

A very nice guesthouse with a friendly host, clean and comfortable room, breakfast and great service. Furthermore it is close to the City center and the vatican in a nice area of the city. We can only recommend this place to others!

The hotel is okay, the main problem is how this hotel is being managed. I had booked 4 days, I could stay only the 2 first after they removed family and me to a desgusting miniflat. Cigarrete smeeling spread all over the miniflat.
