We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very safe and quiet. It’s a bit of a walk to get to any places of interest, but other than that, great! Would recommend for this price point.

My partner and I stayed for 3 days for sightseeing in downtown Rome, where it is quite commutable to go to several iconic places, even in Vatican city. The hotel is nearby kind of a low key area, so we had great time for dinner around there. The staff are very friendly and responsive so I highly recommend the hotel to you guys as a one of the places where you explore around Rome.

Not a 4* at all. It's an apartment complex with rooms spread out. Very small rooms with no space for luggage. Cleaning was bad. There was a lot of noise from the street during the night. Cleaning in other rooms very early morning. I would not recommend.

Very nice and friendly place. Stuff was helpful and smiley. Basic and simple room but nice and clean. Do not expect hotel atmosphere. This is more like a group of rooms and reception. Breakfast could be better.

Highly Recommended Hotel

Everything about the Deko Hotel was excellent. Receptionist Juliana was fantastic, going beyond expectations to make us welcome and provide all recommendations to assist our Rome holiday. Position of the hotel is in one of the safest places in Rome plus convenient to the Spanish Steps. Not far from Rome Termini which equates to a 10 Euro fare. The healthy breakfast was well prepared by Juliana and certainly more than enough for us. Our room was clean and beds comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel.

We loved the entire staff of the hotel. They couldn't have done more to make sure any thing we needed was provided for. The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the heart of Rome and near many of the main attractions as well as as many restaurants.

Staff--amazing, helpful, friendly. Even if you don't normally care about hotel staff, you will leave thinking they are the best part of this place. Room--excellent air conditioning; very clean every day; small-but-comfortable beds (we asked to have ours arranged as two twin beds); mini-fridge with free drinks; hot pot and necessary items to make tea; nice bathroom with small shower, but few toiletries (just soap and shower cap); free wifi that consistently worked well. Breakfast--generous hours if you are a late riser, same everyday (mix of fruits, sliced meat & cheese, croissant, roll, yogurt, cereal, coffee/cappuccino, tea, juice) and already plated for your arrival to the breakfast room, a great time to interact with Julia and get questions answered. Location--very safe area (and not just because you are next to a police station and US embassy, which is a safety bonus); quiet; close to a metro stop BUT it is currently closed for repairs (it is overdue to open, so this probably won't be an issue soon) Other--since it is a small hotel, it is important to let them know when you will arrive on your first day. You will need to buzz in. We needed to call the hotel after buzzing because the one staff member on duty was busy setting up our room. They responded immediately. If someone exits and you can get in without the staff, turn to the LEFT, go up a few stairs to the elevator, and go to the 2nd floor to find the hotel. This was more like a b&b than a hotel. It was hard to find because it doesn't have a well-marked entrance. You go into what is sort of like an office/residential building, and get into a small elevator. The owners were very welcoming. That said, the door to the bathroom in our room didn't close properly, so we had to prop it shut with a chair. Breakfast was good - Julia made really good cappuccinos and a lovely breakfast plate of fruit and cheese.

Hotel Deko is why I love boutique hotels. Great location, beautiful room, and an attentive, personable staff who go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfection. The included breakfast is lovely and they are at the ready with an espresso or cappuccino at any time day or night. Exquisite experience.

I cant say enough good thinks about Deko Rome. Julia and Ajaf helped to make our stay feel personal and elite. The hotel itself is well decorated, very clean, bursting with modern facilities and completely functional. Breakfast fits flawlessly in to a busy day in Rome. The hotel is very quiet with a obscured entrance making it feel very exclusive. The staff make this hotel. Its great to see people who clearly enjoy their work. Julia’s advice gave us ideas where to eat and what to see, and Ajaf’s nightly welcomes were always appreciated. I don’t want to say just how good it is because I won’t be able to get a booking next time I visit Rome.
