The host was very friendly and shared all the information guests need to know about the city. Location-wise, it is good as it's walking distance to the monuments.
Stayed here for a few days, everything was clean and the host was very friendly. The room was surprisingly not too hot even though it was scorching outside. There was quite a bit of noise from the street at night, but this is inevitable given the location.
Lovely stay. Perfect for if you plan on being out all day touring the city. A short walk to the coliseum and public transportation!! The bathroom was kept clean! Would definitely stay here again.
Magnificent location close to everything plus the host was super friendly, the accommodation is very nice and clean the bed is comfortable ans thé size is more queen than double. Love Rome
The hostess was kind and helpful. Communicated with her about check in time because no front desk. Have cash for hotel city tax.
Great location. She provided a
towel for the shared bathroom. However, make sure you have toilet paper and soap. Just in case. Bathroom was easy to use. No Tv but you are in Rome and should not be watching tv anyway. Easy commute by train from airport and then a 12 minute walk from train station. I’m glad I stayed there and would go back for sure.
I’m a solo traveler.
This place and the owner, Gabriella, were perfect. She was extremely helpful and kind. The building is a cool authentic Roman building in an authentic residential neighborhood, but just a 10 or fifteen minute walk from the Colosseum and the Forum. I walked the whole city from the location, but if you don't want to walk, there is a metro station that will get you anywhere on the corner. In this neighborhood, it seems like every time you turn a corner, you come across ancient Roman history. If you want to have a local type rome experience, yet still be close to all the historical sights, this place is perfect. Thank you Gabriella!🙂

Old school
Great location. The best part! Gabriella was helpful and friendly. That’s a plus. Though our arrival was late and outside the checking in period, she was gracious to us. If you don’t like sharing bathrooms then you won’t like this place. It’s an older bare bones place kind of charming old school European style. It feels like you’re in an old movie set. renovation may bring the old place back to it’s original glory.
We stayed for 6 night at casa white… we stayed in the second room. Ths owner was very nice and sweet. She made sure that the bathroom was cleaned daily and garbage removed as well… provided a mini fridge to store food and snack for all guest staying at the property. The bed was comfy to sleep in and the window view to our room was nice… building elevator is tiny but cute lol. We loved the dog who would be seen coming out of her room for his morning and evening walks. Literally fell
In love with him. Would come back to stay
Gabry helped us with earlier check in. Actualy we had one locked room in private apartment facing very busy street.
It was very noisy street. We had to usr common very outdated bathroom wit no shower doors.

The hotel’s location is good you can explore the city on foot, and transportation is very convenient. However, there were significant hygiene issues. Since the bathroom is shared, it was not very clean. The room was extremely cold, and even though they turned on the heater after we informed them, it didn’t help much we had to sleep wearing multiple layers. Additionally, if you arrive early, there is no place to put your luggage, so you must carry it with you until check in time. While the location is an advantage, the hotel did not meet our expectations in terms of hygiene and comfort.

I've fallen in love with this place! It's charming beyond imagination! Welcoming, warm and one of a kind. I loved the decor, the colours, and every piece of furniture is original and unique. The room is large, the bed is super comfortable and the atmosphere is perfect. Gabriella the host is one of the nicest person I've ever met, always available and kind, she even upgraded my room with private bathroom and a view, she knows Rome like the back of her hand, told me where to go for an amazing meal and the perfect itinerary for my sightseeing. The Colosseum is down the street, and a little further the Roman forum. Saint Mary's is behind the corner, every major landmarks is reachable by feet. If you want to feel that"when in Rome do like the Romans do it" this is the place to stay. I know it's the place I will come back every. Highly and wholeheartedly recommended

Stayed for 3 nights, great experience.
We got the first room on the right aka the King bed (two twins pushed together). I had no problems with the room, my boyfriend however didn’t find the bed comfortable. We were given a well working fan which did the job considering there’s no AC. The bathroom was clean but in need of maintenance. The toilet didn’t work too well, to go number 2 you need to poor extra water down it with the provided bucket. That is not abnormal in Europe. Shower is tiny, it only shut off on me once but I had no problem turning it back on and there was always hot water. Hairdryer and fridge was provided but shared. Only ran into another person staying there once, and nobody took up the bathroom for an abnormal amount of time. The shared bathroom really wasn’t a problem as long as the door was kept open when not in use. Host was kind and responsive, ask to see her dogs they are sweet and adorable! 10am walk from coliseum and train station, 30+ min walk from Vatican City.
