The main strength of this place is the location, minutes from a line A tube station, several bus stops and any kind of shops or eateries you might need, all in a not tourist overrun area. The structure itself consists of a repurposed flat on the 4th floor of a large building. There is no staff on site and access is via two sets or rather fiddly lock boxes containing the keys - you get instructions through Expedia messages. My room was overlooking a narrow court where all you could see are the wall and opposite windows. In return I heard no traffic noises and the bed was very comfortable. Everything looks new and clean on arrival. Provision of toiletries is rather stingy: for a 5 nights stay I had just 2 sachets of shampoo/body wash and 2 micro soap bars. No change of bath towels nor bedsheets, no room and bathroom cleaning, not even the rubbish bins were emptyed. It’s all do-it-yourself, felt like a sort of “shared Airbnb”.
