My friend and I enjoyed our stay for two nights with Cynthia's host, she is very kind and helpful. The location is perfect just a few minutes walk from subway station and Vatican city, which is a great advantage especially in hot summer!

The best thing was that it is right outside the Vatican and close to restaurants and shopping. Expedia says breakfast included, it wasn’t. Not enough hot water pressure in the faucet and took too long to get the hot water. Dated furniture. The manager, Cynthia was very helpful and speaks very good English. No front desk.

A nice guesthouse and attentive service

The host was wonderful and treated us nice. Room was clean and the bed was wonderful. Close to Vatican City and easy to access by metro. Recommended if you stayed in Rome for a few days.

Rome was wonderful - thoroughly enjoyed it.

A lovely guesthouse directly opposite the Vatican wall. The photo of the Dome was taken from our room. Hosts were particularly helpful. The gelato shop next door must be the best in Rome as people were queued up at all hours of the day, i haven't seen anything like it elsewhere, the choices were different & flavoursome.

Not impressed, won't recommend

We stayed here for 3nights and we did not really like it mainly for wifi, breakfast and sound situation. Location - it was close to the Vatican, you can walk to the St. Peter's Church but other than that, we needed to take cab to get to the city center for pretty much everything. We found that to be not very convenient. Wifi - Let me warn you, if you need access to wifi, this place has pretty much no connection. They say that there is wifi but it only works in their common area. We needed to check emails and search for things around, plan tours etc and not having wifi was really a bad and disappointing experience. I also asked the owner, she said we will have someone come to take a look but it did not improve at all. Cleanliness - the room was not as clean as it seems in the pictures. There was dust in corners and on the tables. Comfort - The room is noisy, we had a street side room that was so noisy that we could not sleep the whole nights. Breakfast - They say that the breakfast is included, but it starts only at 8am which means if you have a tour before then, then you have to leave without breakfast. We don't usually do guesthouses so not sure if this is a common practice, but we fount it really inconvenient since our tours started around 7am each day we were there.

This was an amazing place to stay and if i had know how amazing it would be, i would have stayed the full week instead of 2 nights! When i arrived in Monday 10/7 it was too early to check in but Cynthia still met me at the location and gave me a key after offering me some breakfast and coffee! I mean WOW they go above and beyond. When i had no hot water the host and her husband who had just been there setting up breakfast rushed right over and made sure i was taken care of!! This is a place i would recommend to everyone!! Location was amazing its right by the vatican and the collusme, trevi fountain and spanish steps are 40 minute walk!

GREAT LOCATION! SUPER CLEAN ROOM! GREAT VALUE!

Amazing 10 STARS! 1) CLEAN room! Absolutely no issues with cleanliness. Bathroom clean, bedroom clean, eating area clean. 2) Amazing location! LOCATION, LOCATION,and LOCATION! 5 minute walk to Vatican. 5-7 minute walk to subway which will take you to all the sites in Rome in a relative short time. 4) Great little bistros all over the neighborhood. Best gelato is located right where you walk in to the building. Fantastic and cheap sandwich place right next to the gelato shop. Other fantastic places to eat right around the corner. 5) SAFE. No worries about safety. 6) Cynthia and her husband were FANTASTIC to work with. Cynthia was excellent in communicating with us and making sure everything was great. Could not be happier with our selection this room. BEST PLACE TO STAY NEAR VATICAN!

We were very glad when they were able to accomodate our check in time at 6:30pm so we could drop our stuff off and go straight to the Vatican where we had tickets for a tour.

Smooth coming and smooth going

It could not have gone more smoothly. We were late to arrive but they waited for us (we confirmed the day before we would definitely be arriving). the AC worked in March as Rome was in a heat spell. The breakfast was ample and the rooms, though small had all we needed. Check out was hours before our flight and they allowed us to keep our bags there while we explored Rome before departing. I think this place is terrific..........it's not the "Hotel De La Ville", but it is well worth the affordable price. I will return to this place as its location is perfect!

Lyxigt, bekvämt boende i Rom, nära till det mesta

Perfekt läge i Rom, nära Vatikanen och gator med restauranger. Ungefär 30-50 minuter till Colosseum beroende på gångtakt. Nära till metro ca 150m. Bra luftkonditionering och frukost. Frukosten bestod av färsk frukt, juice, kaffe, yoghurt, rostat vitt bröd, ost och olika typer av croissanter/munkar. Detta är inte ett traditionellt hotell med reception utan en större lägenhet omgjord till ett antal hotellrum. OBS! Gör upp med ägarna 24 timmar innan för att få nycklar. Hade missat denna information så var nära att vi blev vi inte tog oss in då vi kom till Rom sent på kvällen. Ägarna var dock väldigt förlåtande trots vi ringde närmare 11 på kvällen då de dragit sig hem så kom de och släppte in oss. Mycket bra service och uppskattat då de med all rätt kunde väntat med att släppa in oss tills dagen efter. Rent snyggt och välrenoverade rum med lyxigt högt i tak, det märktes att ägarna ansträngt sig för att ge en lyxig och behaglig upplevelse till sina gäster.
