"We loved this small hotel with its peaceful outdoor garden and roof top in the Monti district. Within walking distance to the Colosseum and Roman Forum and other sights. "Apartment was renewed at some point, but it has not been maintained or deep cleaned since then. The location and price is fairly good, but there are too many issues like: no toilet seat = no problem according to the landlord, mold in shower, intermittent ice cold water in shower, no air conditioning in living room where second bed is, very squeaky and uncomfortable sofa bed, and quite noisy street at night, broken door lock and elevator door. "The location of the hotel was convenient and the rooms were clean. There is technically no front desk, which was a bit strange and no number to call if there was an issue. We did have the power go out in the hotel for a couple of hours.. luckily it was around dinner time so we stayed out a bit longer. Staff was nice, but I would try a different hotel if I returned to Rome."
