"We love this place . Had to stay here one year bc. I got confused of our travel plans and we had no where to stay the first night. They took us in with open arms and a nice room !! We make a point to go back here every year as tradition ! It’s our first nights stay … and eat breakfast at Riverstone Restaurant right down the road ( although this place has a full breakfast stead ?? ) …. Then we visit Cades Cove that’s just past Riverstone …… I highly recommend it ! —- and they have a nice area to walk on a long side walk for excercise !!"

"This is a very old very basic motel. Clean, good for a nights sleep. . We were in room 103 and it didn't appear to be maintained since the 70's. Only plus is it's close to both Bryson City and Cherokee.."

"If you want to stay in a room that is a little bit out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Bryson, this is certainly a choice. What really fried me and I couldn't get over it for the 2 nights we stayed, was the size of the room or rather closet that we stayed in. Also, but bad on me for not checking, but there was no elevator. I am mobility challenged (crutches) so it was a bY*O getting up to the 2nd floor where our little closet was. It'll work in a pinch, but for me, I will look at other options next time we go up."

"We really enjoyed our one night stay here. The lodge is located in a beautiful wooded area with a trickling water feature below and Mountain Views. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! Although there are no staff on site, they assisted me to retrieve something I left there. They couldn’t be more helpful! Overall, I highly recommend this small, unique lodge."

Anytime we had a question or needed anything—including a last-minute decision to rent the boat—she was quick to help and made the entire process seamless. All of the information you need is clearly communicated prior to check-in and easily accessible once you arrive, which made everything feel stress-free from the start.The home itself exceeded our expectations. It was extremely well-equipped, thoughtfully maintained, and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The views are absolutely amazing and honestly one of the best parts of the property—we spent so much time just relaxing and taking everything in. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the area.Overall, this was such a great experience and we would absolutely stay here again. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay!"
