"Historic charm! This hotel has a level of charm that newer hotels don't. The lobby and other public areas are beautiful. The pool is just right. The staff is nice (but beware that valet can be a longer wait than you want). Note this reservation was for a basic room. And, the room was very basic. The bathroom is outdated - the fixtures in the shower are probably from the 1970's. Maybe a deluxe room has more updates."

"The layout of the hotel itself is cute, tons of stairs & 1 elevator was out of order. The cleanliness was good for the most part. The restrooms are VERY small. The only problem was the metal/aluminum bed frame. My Honey & I kept slamming our toes into the bed frame and it was loud. Overall would stay again."

"The staff wad very friendly and accommodating. Even the breakfast was far better than any breakfast I've seen at other hotels. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because of the ceiling damage in the bathroom"

"Checking in was great and easy. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable. The first room they put me in there was a wet spot on the carpet so I immediately let them know and they were kind enough to move me rooms with no problem. The rest of my night was great and I was able to get free breakfast before heading out. "

"I wish I would have been told prior to booking that their pool and spa was under construction. That was the whole point of my booking was so I could use the pool and spa. Let was a waste of a booking. "
