Hotel Aquamare...... the replacement hotel for Mariette hotel, Bad service, horrible rooms, low average food and drinks. Do not stay here. The room we got was like a backpackers lodge. Laminate floors in the bed room and the bathroom was horrible. There was no shower screen so every time we had a shower the floor was drenched. The room smelt like mold and when we complained and asked for a better room they didn't even entertain the idea. We booked hotel Mariette apartments but was told it will be closed this summer so they said this hotel was there sister hotel. I didn't do my research, this hotel was a nightmare!!

Un petit hôtel très sympathique

Nous avons passé 2 nuits au sein de l’hôtel Mariette et nous avons été agréablement surpris. L’appartement était très propre et très fonctionnel pour 4 personnes avec 2 salles de bain. L’hotel est très bien situé et proche de la vieille ville et des commerces. Le petit déjeuner pour 6€ était copieux, la piscine très agréable. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement.

Room was okay and the location was a good one. However there was no microwave in the room, no access to an iron which is a must. The hotel was unable to supply access to tea. The staff where however lovely, and the pool is well maintained.

Good deal for families with pool but awful beds

Fairly well situated a 10 minute walk from the castle and a 15 minute walk from the beach, there was a little grocery at the end of the next block, a small playground, and a cafe (Passaggio) nearby with a massive playground for kids where adults can enjoy a drink while kids run rampant. While furnishings and decor are hardly luxe or up to date, things were fairly clean, especially the very nice pool. The breakfast was not worth the €6 (coffee, juice, toast, ham and cheese) so we only had it the first day. Beds were the low point: hard, cheap mattresses, especially the singles, which are only appropriate for small children, and even then I felt bad setting her to sleep on a surface on which you could feel every metal spring. Everyone at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Bar drinks were reasonably priced. The kitchenette was minimal: a medium burner, a mini one (for a Greek coffeepot I guess), a mini fridge, a sink, and basic dishware. Ok for a quick egg in the morning but don’t expect to make a full dinner there. Our room (112) had two baths! That was a real plus for a family.

Yleisarvosana hyvä+ Huoneisto oli tilava ja siisti, 2kpl:ta kylpyhuoneita/vessoja, 2kpl:ta ilmalämpöpumppuja viilennykseen (olohuone, makuuhuone), 2kpl:ta tilavaa parveketta. Käytävien ja huoneiden päivityksiä ei tosin tehty aikoihin. Pieniä puutoksia astioissa ym. ruoanlaitto tavaroissa. Huoneen siivous päivittäin, josta ei mitään huomauttamista. Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä ja palvelualtista. Sai jopa tilattua respan kautta ruokaa lähigrillistä kuljetuksella. Hyvä pitagyros annos (2,4e) hotelliin 1 euron kuljetusmaksulla. Alle 100m päässä supermarketti, jossa yllättävän hyvä valikoima. Isommat ruokakaupat sijaitsi melko kaukana. Hyvä lämmitetty uima-allas, joka sopi perheen pienimmillekin, koska toisessa päässä allasta syvyys vain n. 1m. Aurinkotuoleja n. 10kpl:ta, mutta ruuhkaa oli melko harvoin. Oikeastaan ainoa lievä pettymys oli sijainti. Hotellin kuvista saa virheellisen käsityksen, että sijaitsee lähellä rantaa vaikka matkaa oli pari kilometriä. Taksit kuitenkin halpoja kiinteät taksat n. 7-8e ja tilasivat respasta pyydettäessä. Kokonaisvaikutelma hotellista jäi reilusti plussan puolelle!

Aparthotel in Rhodos-stad

Proper en net aparthotel, prima voor gezinnen met kinderen die budgetgewijs willen reizen. Matrassen ietsje te hard volgens onze smaak. Zwembad is klein, maar voldoende om even te verfrissen. Op wandelafstand van de oude stad en de nieuwe stad, maar toch rustig gelegen. Nachtwaker aanwezig. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Autoverhuur mogelijk via receptie aan vaak lagere prijzen dat wat geafficheerd staat qua mogelijkheden in de loungeruimte.

Något av det värsta jag varit med om! Hotellet ligger på en kulle så det är ca 1km backe upp/ner till strand/stad. "Poolbaren" är ett litet kylskåp med några drickor och eventuellt någon macka... Rummet vi fick luktade illa, hade dålig luft och ACn var knappt märkbar. Det var dessutom hår i badkaret. När vi bad om ett nytt rum då vårt var obeboeligt pga lukten så fick vi världens värsta service och fick endast höra att det inte alls var något fel på rummet. Receptionisten som jobbade på eftermiddagen hade ingen kontroll och inget att säga till om. Vi bokade nytt hotell för en natt för att han sagt att det inte fanns några andra rum att flytta oss till och när vi kom tillbaka dagen efter så hade det visst funnits det men han hade inte haft makt att ge det till oss. Receptionisten som jobbade på morgonen vägrade lyssna på oss, anklagade oss för att ljuga och var allmänt otrevlig! Vi checkade ut för gott andra dagen och bokade nytt hotell och Mariette vägrade ge oss minsta kompensation. Helt värdelöst hotell.

Ok lägenhetshotell

Ok lägenhetshotell för det priset. Hårda sängar. Supermarket ca 300 meter åt höger när man kommer ut från hotellet. De hade färskt bröd varje morgon och bra utbud. Gångavstånd till gamla stan och stranden. Hela området fick slut på vatten de tre sista dagarna vi var där vilket var mindre kul i 40 graders värme.

Trevligt Hotell nära centrum och havet

Om man vill ha ett hotell som är rent, enkel standard och trevlig personal då ska man välja det här. Vi var mycket nöjda med vår hotellvistelse!

Soggiorno piacevole!

Sono stato in questi appartamenti e mi sono trovato benissimo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! La zona è molto tranquilla e dista 15 minuti a piedi dalla città vecchia, dalla spiaggia del centro storico (per di più molto pulita) e dalla stazione dei bus che portano da qualsiasi parte dell'isola.

Small, quiet, excellent little hotel with a fantasticly friendly and helpful staff. Location is excellent: 15minute walk from city center, but quite quiet and close to affordable shops. Lovely pool with lime trees too! :)

Hotel nah zur Altstadt

Leider waren die Zimmer nicht sehr schön. Alles wirkte etwas verstaubt, die Matratzen waren alt und durchgelegen, das Bad winzig, Fenster von Außenseite zugemauert.

Guttetur til Rhodos

Romslig og praktisk leilighet for en vennegjeng på tur. Fikk mye for pengene og vil si standarden var høyere enn to stjerner. Hyggelig og pratsom betjening, fikk oss til å føle oss velkommen. Godt fornøyd med oppholdet i sin helhet!
