Beautiful view! Absolutely clean room and the Jacuzzi tub was amazing. The train was only heard once during sleep and it really was not that bad. I would definitely come back and I would highly recommend.

This is a lovely property overlooking the Hudson. The room was very clean and the host was helpful and responsive. The property is being renovated and I cant wait to see it when it is finished. There is a great restaurant, Kips Taven, which is right next door. I would be remiss not to add that is right next to the train station and you can hear the train and the horn. You may want to stay at the other side of the hotel if you are a light sleeper.

Hotel reopened two days prior to our stay. Barry, the property owner, greeted us upon our arrival and explained that there was everything we may need in the lobby: coffee, tea, water, snacks etc. Our room and king sized bed was very comfortable. Loved the bathroom with free standing soaking tub. The view of the Hudson River from our balcony was spectacular. Wish we had a clearer night to see sunset over the Hudson. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend to friends and family. Diane

The property was a staff free at check in, but we still felt the care of staff at our check in to the building . They had left snacks in the front lobby and seltzers in the fridge, with a coffeemaker and hot drink bar available. (There are no individual fridges in the rooms.) Paramount to us was the location of this historic property. and the view of the river from our balcony of our room it afforded us, with majestic hills framing the scene across the river. The owners attention to details was apparent in their clean and welcoming nature-inspired (e.g. hard wood floors, jute carpet) aesthetic, which we greatly appreciated. We wish the owners well as they continue their renovations!

It was weird when we got there. We couldn't find the entrance at first since it wasn't obvious. When we did find it, there was just a key left on the table with my name saying that everything was self-service. Not one employee in sight. It's an old property under renovation so it felt pretty creepy. Everything creaks and the walls are thin. The room was okay with a nice view of the Hudson. I did appreciate the snacks and water that was left in the lobby since the restaurant across the street is very expensive, There is also a market up the block.

This is a very nice B&B where every room has a small patio with a beautiful view of the Hudson River. It is alongside train tracks but I didn't find the occasional passing train to be a bother. A great escape if you want a night away from NYC.

The hotel is beautiful - gorgeous old building with tasteful flowers and trees around it. The room was specious with high ceilings and a lovely view of the Hudson River with some historic buildings on the Kingston side visible. We had a great stay. I would highly recommend it!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We had a simple yet tasteful room directly overlooking the Hudson. It was very comfortable and served us well for our stay. Easy check in and great communication from the hosts. And you can’t beat the location and the view! The property is in the process of being restored and we cannot wait to come back and see it in its full glory.

The room, the tub and the view was wonderful. Very comfortable stay. We loved the little balcony where we could have breakfast. The little lobby right downstairs provided coffee, tea, some snacks and drinks in the fridge. The small fridge was convenient to store ice packs and some small items you may have.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Rhinecliff! The breathtaking view from our room and the serene atmosphere during our stay left us in awe. Initially, we had planned to stay for just one night, but we couldn’t resist the charm of this quaint hotel and decided to extend our stay for another night. Although the hotel is still undergoing renovations, the self-check-in system was a fantastic and seamless experience for us. My husband & I met the owner, who was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Guests were also treated to complimentary drinks like water, soda, and coffee, as well as small trinkets and donuts that could be easily grabbed from the lobby corner. The room exudes a vintage charm, reflecting the hotel’s rich history. We absolutely adore the bathroom! It’s like stepping into a magazine. We can’t wait to be back & discover what more the hotel has to offer once it’s fully operational. The location is perfect for watching the sunset over the Hudson River. It’s conveniently situated next to the train station, and while the train may be a bit noisy during its passage, we found that it added to the overall charm of our stay.
