The hotel is located right next to restaurants and shopping. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The immediate area was quiet. Public transportation was nearby and easy to use. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, walking distance to all downtown sights and many restaurants nearby. Clean room, friendly staff, typical breakfast buffet. My only complaint is that the bathroom doesn’t have ventilation so prepare for a steamy room after showers

The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Management just turned over in the last month or two. This hotel was once a dormitory hall for college students so the decor is kinda funky. We ate at the restaurant on the property. There weren’t many menu options but the meal we had was excellent!!

Centrally located hotel. Definitely not a 4-star! The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, but the hotel looks worn and in need of a paint job. The carpets are worn and stained and the whole place looks tired. The bathroom in the room that we had was nice.

At first glance the hotel is quaint and the staff is amazing. The restaurant is also very good. What I would say the hallway carpet is stained and the room was not what we expected. It had a very strong odour from the bathroom (sulphur or sewage type of smell) which ruined the experience. We also felt the photos taken for their website does not represent what you pay for. I would recommend based on location, staff and restaurant only. I do not think the price per night is worth it.

Location is excellent. Hotel is very close to different attractions. And close to the grocery store. The area is quiet. The only negative is that the shower is so small and water shower is very slow. It needs to be changed.

Room was dated but clean with a very comfortable bed. No blackout curtains just a roller blind, so there was light in the room all night. Bathroom / shower cubicle was very small. Maybe my idea of a 4 star hotel is different. Breakfast was limited but very tasty and all the staff we very friendly.

This hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance to all major tourist sites in town. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly when we asked about taxis and early breakfast. The only small negatives I have from my short stay was that there was peeling paint/potentially ceiling mold spot above the shower and there was no real closet/drawer space for clothes. The rooms were very spacious in size so not having the closet or drawers was not an issue for my short stay because there was plenty of space to keep your suitcase on the floor. The rooms and bathroom were clean. They use a physical lock and key as entry to your room, which I'm noting only because it's unusual to people from the USA. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the family room here. The Marshall Bluetooth speaker is an awesome touch!!! The room is spacious, multiple TV’s, and the beds were comfortable. Hard to regulate the temperature but is a great hotel option in a great location!

The staff at the front desk were so intuitive and so helpful! Felt so welcome! Our room, on the other hand, left much to be desired. Mostly, the bathroom was not clean—my friend and I opted not to take a shower until our next destination, as it made us quite uncomfortable. The walls were also very, very thin, but I suppose that comes with age. The breakfast had a pretty good selection, but the vegan milks were warm. All of those downsides don't matter in the long run because we felt quite safe.
